Reflections on how people are, tearing the toilet papers off the shelves, due to the government’s announcements of a price hike on toilet paper. It’s a, F-E-E-D-I-N-G F-R-E-N-Z-Y, I tell ya, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
“Did you manage, to get some toilet paper?”, since last Friday when the consumers learned, that there was going to be a price hike of ten to thirty percent on the toilet papers, they’d gotten into, a feeding frenzy, the whole family head out as a whole, and, carried out casings of it, not only were the wholesales places unable to restock, the online shops had also, sold out too, and, people worried, that in the future, the diapers, and the adult diapers will also go on a price hike, and so, they’d, gone after them too.
The feeding frenzy of trying to get more toilet paper caused the lacking of the supplies, which caused the Consumer’s Protections Agency of the Executive branch to call an emergency press conference, stressed, that the four major wholesales places had signed a valid contract, that they shall, not hike up the prices before mid-March, and the agents of the consumer’s protections agency are heading out to day, to see what the prices are locally at the various shops.
This lacking of toilet paper supplies caused the consumers to question the toilet paper providers to “hoard up the goods until the price is right”, the toilet paper producers already stressed, that they’d, upped the productions to one to two times more than usual, but it was a two-day weekend, and they couldn’t find the truck drivers to work to make the deliveries, and that after the delivery restarts again, they should be able to fill up the lacking.
“We’d restocked the toilet papers three times a day, and yet, people still, just grabbed them all off, in matters of a few short seconds!”, the Carrefour employee in Tainan stated, that a lot of the public had, “swept” away the goods; the operators of RT Mart said, that two days ago, in just the evening hours, they’d, sold off, over a thousand cases of toilet paper, and a lot of people had, come and bought five to six cases, and early yesterday morn, they’d, just restocked, and by noontime, the toilet papers, were, sold out.
A lot of the members of public started waiting in front of the shelves, for the restock, and, as the employees restocked, they’d not had the opportunities to open up the cardboard boxes yet, and, the public had, hauled the casings out, the sales marts’ operators estimated, that the sales in toilet papers had increased tenfold compared to usually.
A resident of Taidong, Chen after learning of the price hike in toilet paper, two days ago, he and his families shopped around the major wholesales places in Taidong, and grabbed an assortment of brands of toilet papers, the paper towels, the napkins too, and the items stacked up so high, and made his home into a small-sized warehouse. Looking at his “winnings” he’d stated, “that should be enough, to last until the end of the year!”, and that saving the money on a bag, it’s dollars saved.
Toward this frenzy, Costco limited the purchases per membership card, and all the shops had, set up the rules, that each day, per card can only buy TWO huge packs, to hopefully, fulfill the needs of all of its, customers, and in the future, they will determine, to keep up this rule, based off of how the situation turns.

Other than the physical shops being out of stock, the online shopping places also were, sold out, as the sharpee online auction sites put out the discounted pricings on the toilet papers, the items were sold out in a matter of only few second. And, a lot of the online shopping places’ posted on the items descriptions, “sold out, currently, restocking”, or, “Sold out completely”.
The sites including “UDN Shopping”, Yahoo!, PCHome, and Online shopping networks, had sold out in paper towels in the kitchen too. The consumers said it was, outrageous, “As the New Year started, we’re all, fighting to buy up the toilet paper products, are we, going to war here?”
This is, a SERIES of dominoes effect, because the government had announced this HIKE in prices in the future (the dates aren’t even, set yet!!!), and the members of the public fell into, this feeding frenzy, and you have GOT to be shitting me here? This can cause, SERIOUS chaos in the world that we live in, the words of those, god DAMN, politicians, can you imagine that???
