How this situation, reminded the narrator or her/his marriage, translated…

“Mommy, I don’t like being in here.”

“We are on an airplane, we need to fly to Japan before we’re, allowed off.”

The young boy seemed to have trouble understanding his mom, he’d stated every thirty seconds, “Mom, I don’t’ like being here”, and his mother tried every way, to quiet him down, but he’d, refused to shut up. I really wanted to, duct-tape his lips shut, but, I can only, imagine doing it, I can’t, really do it. I’d, taken, a deep breath, told myself, to calm down, but he just, kept calling and yelling and it was, truly, annoying. In the end, I’d, fallen in, defeat, started hating this, small confine too. But it’s not like, I can, leave here now. I’d, looked toward the young boy’s mom, and suddenly, it’d, dawned on me, what getting married is, all about.

So, marriage is like, how this man was, TRAPPED inside this airplane, high up in the air, with this little boy, getting more and more agitated, wanting to, get off, but you’re in the air, and, it’s just, IMPOSSIBLE for you to get away now, and so, that, is what this narrator’s marriage was like, trapped, in an airplane (a small AND confined space!!!), wanting to leave, but can’t………
