The Criminal Detective Agencies are sweeping for illegal substance north to south, yesterday, the cracked FOUR factories, and the suspects had, used the children’s busses to transport the raw materials of up to a TON, to make ketamine and amphetamine, and the police estimated that the raw materials can be, manufactured into TWO HUNDRED kilos of drugs; while the airport police had, caught three drug-mule who’d, transported the illegal substances with their bodies, and 3.8 kilos’ worth of amphetamine were, found on their bodies.
The third squad of the Criminal Detective Unit at the start of the year, got a tip, that a drug cartel had, imported huge quantities of sodium hydroxide, and other substances used to make ketamine through the port of Keelung, then, had the substances, transported to a warehouse in Luzu, Taoyuan.
The police had, zoomed in on the activities, and found that the raw materials were sent to Jingshan, in Hsinbei City, and Huko, Hsinchu, Longtan, Taoyuan and Guanyin, four factories that manufactured the substances, and the suspects, in order to evade arrest, had masked the transport vehicle into a kindergarten pickup bus, and, the factories located throughout started, making the drugs, and some of the factories are only responsible for purifying the amphetamine, and another was only in charge of wrapping.
Two days ago, the police conducted a search, and arrested the primary suspects, Lee (age 50), along with six others, and confiscated the half-finished amphetamine weighing up to 2.36 kilograms, twenty-one grams worth of ketamine, along with a whole bunch of raw materials, and the equipment used to manufacture the substances; the police found, that Lee was once sentenced to five year’s in prison for making the substances, and after he was out on parole, he’d, returned to his old business.
The twenty-two year-old cousins, Tu, and the twenty-three-year-old Chen two evenings ago, arrived in Taichung International Airport from Hong Kong, was stopped at a check point by the customs’ officers, and the officers found the three had carried amphetamines on their waists and right thighs, a total of nine packages, weighing a total of 8,854 grams.
The three men claimed that they received the orders to help transport the substances from Malaysia from a man in Taiwan, and each of them will be paid $100,000N.T.s, but, before they were paid, they were, found, and the police are, searching for the related parties in this right now.
And so, you DO see, how serious, this, IS getting, right? People are transporting the raw materials here, to give to the factories, to manufacture the illegal substances from internationally, and, thankfully, the police CRACKED this particular case, but, how many more cases are going to happen? Heaven only knows, because the demands for these things are still, getting higher, and higher, and higher, and where there are demands, there will ALWAYS and FOREVER be, supplies!
