Getting reconnected with your high school classmates here, translated…
A few of the high school classmates asked for a karaoke outing on LINE, but, not very many can be there, after all, after we’d, graduated, we’d been, busy, with our separate lives, and, as I was still contemplating on whether or not I should go too, the person who’d called for this texted me a private message, said that he wished I could be there.
The sing-off started on Friday night at nine, and although, not a lot of people were there, the room was filled with laughter and joy, but, we’re, not as fit as we once were, by midnight-ish, most of us are already, too fatigued, and about, to pass out on the couches.

The person who’d asked me to host along with him needed to leave first, because we can’t miss the last MRT trains, as he’d walked me out, he’d slowly, started, like he was, professing something he’d kept inside of him for so very long, “Actually, we’d wanted to, invite you the most this gathering.” I had that look of question on my face, “from back when we were in school, you’d, kept your emotions covered up inside, you’re, very quiet, and this time, we’d wanted to ask you out, to see, how you’d been.”
On the way home, I’d, slid on my cell phone, and, my classmates already, posted the photos in the groups; and, because of the communications app, it’s, as if, we’re, right next to one another, when things are, happening, but, the real kind of care and concerns, seemed to need to have that face-to-face contact, for the feelings of connections to flow freely. Looking at how everybody was having a blast, I’d, sent an emoticon that reflected my facial expressions right now, a smiley face!
And so, this, is how your former connections are caring about you, and you’d not known it, until the classmate walked you out, and, you’d felt, that although, you’d lost contact through the years, but, you’re all still, very close, and that, is what friendship is all about, isn’t it?
