The tragic news of murders in a family came yesterday from Hsinbei City. A thirty-two-year-old woman with schizophrenia, Huang because she was displeased at her parents’ accusing her, she’d lost emotional control, and attacked their heads and faces with a hammer, her mother sustained serious injuries on her head, and her father was critically injured, and died in the hospital as the paramedics attempted to, resuscitate him. As the police received the call, they’d, broken down the door, rescuing the injured and arresting Huang, yesterday, after the police interrogated her, they’d, charged her with murders of her parents and sent her to Hsinbei’s D.A.’s offices.
“Help! I’m bleeding!”, at around ten in the morn, the 62-year-old woman, Wu was bleeding from her head, hiding in her apartment on the second floor, hollering for help, as the neighbors heard her calls for help, they’d, immediately notified the police. The police found that the door to the apartment was locked from the inside, they’d called the fire department to break in, and rescued Wu who’s injured in the back of her head, and they’d gone into the apartment, and found the 67-year-old Huang lying in the bedroom, with clear laceration wounds on his head, and was in a coma.
Huang’s father was lifted to the hospital for emergency resuscitation, but because he’d sustained serious head injuries, and had subdural hematoma, he’d died, Huang’s mother suffered injuries to the back of her head, but after resuscitation, she was stabilized, but was in shock, and emotionally unstable, and Huang, who’d attacked her parents with the hammer was arrested on site.
Huang’s older brother grilled his younger sister in the police substation, “Why did you hammer our parents?”, Huang said, “Because they all yelled at me, and I want to revenge”, it’d, broken Huang’s older brother’s heart hearing it.
Based off of understanding, the deceased had two sons and a daughter, after Huang graduated from high school, she’d worked in a factory for a year, but was overwhelmed by her schizophrenia, and quit her job, and had been staying at home and looked after by her parents, last year, they’d moved from Tucheng to Banciao, the two older brothers both left home and started working.
The police investigated and found, that Huang was suspected of feeling displeased that her father told her to get treated at a hospital, and her mother demanded that she go and find work, she’d lost it yesterday, and blurted out “I want to kill dad”, and hammered down her mother first, locked her outside on the lanai, then, chased her father into the house, and attacked him.
Since 2010, Huang was listed as a person of concern by the Hsinbei’s Department of Sanitations, in the eight years the Department of Sanitations had sent social workers to visit the house regularly. The Department of Sanitations said, that since last year, the home visitor saw Huang acted withdrawn and fearful, and refused their visits, and so the social worker can only talk to the parents. Last month, the home visit social worker called Huang’s mother, and the parents both believed, that she was behaving, normally then.
And so, this, is what happens, when you don’t get your mental illnesses treated, and, this woman lost emotional control, which still didn’t happen, overnight, it must’ve been, building up since long ago, and at that moment of fury, she’d, acted on her anger, and murdered her father and seriously injuring her mother.
