The dreams we’d, once shared, now, I have, no place, to send them all to, you’d gone from me now, and, no amount of my crying, screamin’, or shoutin’ will, get you back to me again!
Dreams, but no place to send them to, it’s like how you’d lost contact with that friend from long ago, and you’d sent her/him a greeting card or somethin’, but it got returned to “sender”, because, the address and the residents, they just, don’t match up…

Dreams, but no place to send them to, what am I, to do, with ALL the dreams we once shared, huh? You’d, left them in my sole custody, and I’d done my best, to look after them too, but now, I think, the custody of these dreams should be shared by you and I together, it’s just, you’d, left all our dreams long ago, behind…
Dreams, but no place to, send them to, I really don’t want them to hang around, and I can’t, throw them out, ‘cuz that would be just, too mean of me, so, guess, I’ll just have to, round them all up, and bring ‘em down to the animal shelter in town, to place them up one by one, for adoption? Or maybe, I can, bring them all, down to that shop that’s operated by the Salvation Army, see if they are going to take these, unwanted, donated dreams of ours?
