The adverse effects of binge-drinking! And, that’s what alcohol does to people! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
Four foremen two evenings ago gathered together in the evenings for their meals, after binge drinking for nine hours straight, Dai, a foreman, went to the restrooms intoxicated, and he’d gone to the kitchens, picked up a chopping knife, and as he’d come back to the tables, he’d, started hacking another foreman, Wu; the other two men were so shocked that they’d, sobered up instantly, they’d immediately subdued Dai, and, as Dai sobered up, he had no recollections of what had happened, kept asking, “did I hack somebody?”
The police reviewed over the surveillance footages, found that the fifty-three year-old Dai held up the chopping knife high up in the air, and hacked the fifty-six-year-old Wu on the head twice repeatedly, and one of the wounds made a two, two-and-a-half inches long wound on his neck, and the blood spattered to his shirt, thankfully, Dai didn’t hit Wu’s carotid, Wu was rushed to the hospitals, received over ten stitches, and he is no longer in critical danger now.
The police found, that the four men were foremen from different constructions, two nights ago at eight, they’d gathered at a food shop to eat and drink, and at two in the morn yesterday, they’d taken their gathering to a karaoke bar, and drank until five in the morn, they’d drunk for a total of nine whole hours.
At which time, Dai got up to go to the restrooms, and, as he’d returned, he had a chopping knife in hand; back then, the other three foremen were having conversations and getting drunk, nobody paid any attention that Dai had a butcher knife in hand, then, suddenly, Dai struck Wu repeatedly.
Wu got up after he was hacked at, and immediately, fell to the floors, the other two foremen saw, and hounded and beaten Dai down; Dai had a nose fracture from the beating, but he still had the butcher knife in his hand, until the police arrived and ordered him to unarm, did he toss the knife away from him.
The other two foremen said, that they were on the second rounds of drinks, and everything was amicable, there was no arguments, displeasures, and Dai and Wu were meeting for the very first time, they’d not known one another, nor did they have any beef with each other before.
After Dai hung over, he’d not recalled anything, couldn’t understand why he’d, hacked someone. After the police interrogated him, he was charged with attempted murder.
And, with alcohol as the catalyst, that, was what caused this random hacking, and whether or not the man had some sort of displeasures with someone else that it’d gotten, exacerbated after he was totally drunk, and he’d just, scapegoated the other foreman who was there with him, nobody knows. This still showed, how you should have the senses to NOT get PLASTERED!
