This is, considered the ULTIMATE worst act against filial piety, and so, naturally, the judge mandated the divorce, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A woman, Shih started having verbal altercations endlessly with her separated husband, after her husband left the house, Shih took the ancestral plate of her parents-in-law’s family and threw them out the door, and because the husband felt strained, of arguing with her long-term, he’d, filed for divorce with the courts. After the Hsinbei District Courts reviewed the facts, they believed, that Shih had gone against the belief of what constituted as a good daughter-in-law, and considering how their marriage was, beyond repair, the courts granted the divorce.

The verdict pointed out, that Shih and her husband were married for over twenty years, had three children together, several years ago, their love went bad, they’d argued often, to the point that there was a separation between them.

Shih’s husband told the courts, that he was, chased out of his own residence, but had still gone home every now and then to visit, to get his belonging, but, every time he’d gone back, he’d gotten, kicked back out. In July of 2015, as he’d gone home, Shih threatened him with a knife, as he’d gone back in December of the same year, he saw that Shih had, thrown the ancestral plates outside, he couldn’t accept that, he’d told the judge, “We no longer related to one another as husband and wife, there’s no amicable interactions between us anymore.”

Shih admitted to bringing the ancestral plates outside by the door, but stated, that it was because her husband had an affair and refused to come home, that was what made her do it, out of anger. She said, first, her husband stopped coming home on the weekends, then, moved out, and accused her husband for sending her into the mental hospital to stay for twenty-three days, insisted on not getting a divorce.

The courts called their children to testify, and learned, that they’d started arguing endlessly over small matter in life started in 2011, the husband came home every day, and there was NO evidence of him having an affair. The children said, that the parents argued once every two, three days, that they were, both at fault, to the point, that it’d affected their children’s marriages too, “If my father came home, then, none of this would have, happened!”

The courts believed, that Shih, because her husband left home, she’d thrown the ancestral plates of her husband’s side of the family out, that she’d, gone against the doings of a daughter-in-law. And, Shih had multiple times, threatened her husband to give her money to live off, and when the husband refused her, she’d, threatened the entire family, that they will all, die, she couldn’t keep her calm, to resolve their issues. The courts considered how the couple had been living separately for over two years, that the love is no longer in existence, that the marriage was only in name, and so, granted the divorce.

And so, from this, it sounded as though, the wife was the one, doing ALL the awful things, but, it must’ve been something that the husband had done, to make her RE-act that way, and what she did, was totally disrespectful, and that, was why the judge ruled that the divorce was, granted.
