On New Year’s Eve, Chen and Nine Other Men Set Off the Fire Crackers in Danshui and Were Scolded by the Firefighters, They Were Suspected of Beating the Firefighters, and Were Taken in by the Police; the Four Men Who Were Reprimanded by the Police and a Man Named Lin Early Yesterday Morning, Threw the Offering Money for the Dead at the Firehouse, and They Were Arrested Again. The Police Charged Them with Assaulting the Members of the Public Services Department, and Some Other Charges.
The group of men said that they felt ashamed that their deeds of setting off fireworks had made the front page, that was why they’d gone to the firehouses and threw the money for the dead. The officers who’d arrested them scolded them, “You made a scene again, gotten arrested one more time, with a few extra charges, more fines, gotten on the front page once more, would that give you more face? What sort of logic is that?”
How are They So Awful, the Outside Wondered
The members of the public wanted to know why this group of people were so awful, after getting arrested for beating up the firefighters and had gone to the fire station to “perform the rituals to appease the spirits”? The police investigated, that they weren’t listed as gangs or members of organized crime units, just bad people from locally, they’d been warned, to not make any trouble.
The ten men, because they weren’t caught in the act, they’d not gotten sent to the D.A.s offices, after they were interrogated by the police, the police sent them home. At around midnight last night, Chen who’d started the fist fight with the firefighters Lee (age 32) and Huang (age 24) who only cheered on by the side, Wang (age 26), the suspect, Wang, and Lin (age 20) who’d not gotten involved in the firefighter beating, made a scene at the local fire department substation yesterday.
They’d rang the bells, hit the cymbals in the middle of the nights, threw the offerings for the dead, placed the eggs, the incenses, and started burning the money offerings to the dead, and started bowing ritualistically, “Come, come!” then, they threw a handful of incense up in the air, cursed, “Die right now!”, a lot of the locals thought it was a cult, doing their rituals.
Afterward, the police arrested the five, they claimed that they were calling on the dead, and after interrogations, they were charged with public endangerment, insulting a public office, and breaking the peace of the society.
And so, hopefully, that’s, that, and, these men were, way too immature, they were the ones who shouldn’t have set off fireworks where they weren’t supposed to, and now this, yeah uh, these are, ADULTS we’re dealing with her, not children, I mean, if you were teens, and did something like this, you might be able to blame in on your hormones, or your impulse control, but, you’re in your TWENTIES already, so, GROW up already!!!
