In the Conflict at a Night Club, a Group of 33 Killed an Officer Who Was Called to the Line of Duty, All Were Charged with Heavier Sentences

A death that could’ve, easily been avoided, but it still wasn’t, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A rich second-generation, Tseng and his girlfriend got into a conflict with the security guards at a night club, they’d called on the mobsters, and gathered into a group, to get what was rightfully theirs, and they’d, beaten the detective, Shue who was called to aid. The first trial, the sixty-eight people were all charged with murder, and the High Courts changed the verdict based off of the laws of murder by brawls, and Tseng’s original eight years’ jail sentence increased to ten years, and, of the perpetrators, thirty-three men were charged with more severe crimes.

A suspect of the murder of the officer, Hsu two days ago while driving past the Civic Avenue and Guanfu S. Road intersections, was pulled over by police, he’d shouted, “I hate cops!”, “I’d killed a cop, so what.” The police managed to find the marijuana electric cigarettes, containing a second-level illegal substance, they’d arrested him.

In the murder of Officer Shue, Hsu was accused of using a pole to bash Shue’s head, he and Hsiao, who had tied with the gangsters were both sentenced to thirteen year sentences at the second trial. For the rest, thirty-three men were charged with more severe crimes compared to the first trial, and sixteen men who’d reached settlement agreements with the family members due to a reduce of the level of crimes they’d committed, were given lighter sentences compared to the first trial verdicts, for the rest, the verdict stayed, unchanged.

This murder of the police officer occurred around the midnight hours of September 13th, 2014, Tseng and his girlfriend were called out for being too loud at the night club, SPARK in Taipei, and was kicked out of the club by the security guards, the two complained to Hsiao about it, Hsiao took his men to ge4t justice, Hsu and others hollered out to the members of the gang to confront, and started a physical fight with the security of the night club.

As Shue went to the scene after being called, he’d screamed angrily at Hsiao and Tseng, “Why are you making a scene in my jurisdiction?”, and kicked Tseng, and Hsu and the rest of the group got angered, and assaulted Shue with the bats, the poles too, after being beaten down by twenty-one men for two minutes, Shue felt down and couldn’t get up again, the ambulance rushed him to the hospital but he still died.

And so, this, is how things had, escalated, had the officer used a milder tone of voice with the men, and told them to STOP making a scene, to STOP fighting, and maybe, the officer wouldn’t have died, and this still just showed, how in the heat of the moment, people lose control of their emotions, as well as their behaviors too easily.
