You must have it on record, before you take your child and run, otherwise, you’ll be charged! From the Newspapers, translated…

There were migrated people who’d taken their own young back to Vietnam, and was charged with luring, and sentenced to a year ten months and two years’ probation, even if there’s the good motives, the reasons may be disregarded

Women who are weathering through domestic violence or crises in the marriage, would sometimes worry that nobody’s looking after their own young, and took the children along, some of the migrated individuals had even, taken their own young back to their home countries; although the motives of these mothers are good, but, they had, broken the law, and, some of them were, sentenced, severely.

Ting was on the verge of divorcing her husband, without her husband’s permissions, she’d taken her son to Vietnam, her husband chased her there, she’d hidden their five-year-old at a relatives’ place, not allowing her husband visitation rights, and was sued for obstruction of family and luring.

As the courts held its sessions, Ting claimed that she’d taken her son home to Vietnam to travel and visit the families, as her husband arrived in Vietnam, he’d not contacted her family, besides, her family was in the country, and as her husband arrived it was already late, so that was why he didn’t see her son, it wasn’t that she was, intentionally barring him from visiting his own young; but the judge investigated and found, that she had, barred her son from seeing his father, and, sentenced her to a year ten months in prison for luring, and placed her on probation for two years.

And, a woman, Nguyen’s marriage was in crisis, she believed, that leaving her four-year-old son at her husband’s side of the family, the child will be neglected, and when he was away at work, she’d taken her son, left home, and stayed with a friend, she’d changed her cell, so her husband’s family couldn’t get a hold of her, she was sued for luring. During the trial, she’d already taken her son home, and made up with her husband, and the judge sentenced her lightly, gave her six months in prison, and two years’ probation.

There are, an increased number of cases of how the immigrants’ marriages hit the rocks, and they’d taken their own young out of the family to look after, and got sued in Taoyuan; and, there were, multiple instances for the parents who are citizens here as well.

The Taoyuan District Court pointed out, that luring a minor under age sixteen away from home, the individuals can receive anywhere from a year to seven years’ prison terms; and if they’d gone abroad, it would be a felony that gets the individual over seven years. And even if the intention was to “protect” the younger children, it’s still, against the laws. The judge also pointed out, that the public must be careful, because there were cases where abused women, in order to escape from the marriage, who’d taken their young away to live, had broken the laws.

And so, this is bad for women, because, we’re, not at a homing advantage, because sometimes, we have, NO options but to ESCAPE, and, this just doesn’t work in our favor!
