Knowingly, she’d committed grand larceny! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
The saleslady of a jewelry counter was accused of selling 144 highly-priced diamond ring and other jewelry pieces cheap, causing the company to suffer a loss of close to $30 million N.T.s, Lee admitted to what she’d done from the start, then, she’d changed her statement, that someone had, scammed her, and that was why she’d needed to, sell off the pieces, to cover for the loss of money she was scammed; the Kaohsiung District Courts believed that she’d not settled it with her company, and carried an awful attitude, charged her with twenty-seven counts of invasions of business, sentenced her to a total of sixteen years in prison, and she and the D.A. can both appeal.
The jewelry store that was the victim said, that five years ago, Lee was hired as the saleswoman at the counters, until two years ago, when the cases started happening; they don’t have any comments toward the rulings, because they’d not reached a settlement agreement, the company is seeking all the money that Lee had earned from the illegal jewelry she’d stolen from the shops.
The verdict pointed out, that while Lee was in charge of the counters, she’d managed to sell off 144 items cheaply, the items included: pendants, diamond rings, necklaces, as the shop did an inventory two years ago, they’d found that something was off; at first, Lee admitted to selling the jewelries that weren’t hers for $2 million N.T.s, then, changed her claims, of how she was scammed by a man, Huang on the jewelries worth $1.5 million N.T.s, that was why she’d needed to move the money around, to cover the losses, and that she’d misread the pricing of the emeralds for sale, and, that was why she’d cost the stores to lose over $28 million N.T.s
But the Collectivist Courts believed, that Lee’s claims of selling the jewelries to cover the losses, reading the price tags wrong, were lies. The Collectivist Courts believed, that she’d sold the pieces for cash, or sold an item, but registered it as another being sold, to stole the items for herself; and after the crimes were committed and she was caught, she’d not owned up to it, and still kept dodging the responsibilities, that was why they’d, sentenced her so heavily.
This is, caused by GREED, because this woman got greedy, and wanted to make money off of the items at the shop, she’d, sold them off cheap, and now she’s been caught, she’d not owned up to what she did being wrong (against the law???), she’d still attempted to weasel her way out of it, which is why the judge gave her such a heavy sentence, because she’d shown NO signs of remorse over what she did.
