A last year high school student in Hsinbei City, Fang, was suspected of wanting to buy a motorcycle from the money he’d saved up from his part-time jobs, and his father was against it, they’d gotten into a verbal altercation, Fang hung himself at home, as his family found him, there was no sign of life, and as the paramedics rushed him to the hospital, he’d still died.
The psychiatrist, Yang stated, that Fang is in the teenage turbulence years, and as he felt the impacts from school or life, he’d easily hurt his family members or himself out of impulsivity, he’d suggested that talking to teens, the parents should use the sandwich methods.
Give the child positive affirmations first, that he’s older now, and has a mind of his own, then, reminded him that he’s still underage, and he can’t ride a motorcycle yet, then, encourage him at the end, making a pact with the child, how he can reach his goals of having a motorcycle so he won’t have to walk, using these three steps to communicate with your teens, don’t just tell them NO straight up, in case of something that may happen, that may cause you to regret it.
At five in the morning, the fire department of Hsinbei City got a call, that on Mingfeng Street of Tucheng District, someone had been found hanging himself, as the paramedics arrived, they’d performed CPR, then rushed him to the Asia-Eastern Hospital in Banciao, but after emergency resuscitation the doctors still pronounced him dead.
The student who killed himself by hanging, Fang, was only seventeen, from a single parent family, his father looked after him and his two younger brothers singlehandedly, they’re not well-to-do. Based off of understand, Fang goes to class during the day, and part-timed at night in the gas station, saved up the money, hoping to buy himself a motorcycle.
The father told the police, that his son will turn eighteen next February, he believed, that he’s still a minor, and was against him buying a motorcycle, they’d gotten into a disagreement on the matter, and that as he went to wake his son up in his room for school yesterday morning, he’d found his son, having hung himself. There was no note left, the police believed, that Fang couldn’t think of an alternative, that, was what drove him to commit suicide.
So, this, is HOW easily those teens cracked, and perhaps, the father’s not letting the son buying that scooter was the cause of the young man’s suicide, or, that he had an accumulation of bad moments, and his father’s not letting him buy the scooter was only the last straw, we will never know. But, this just showed, how easily and how hard teens will take things to heart.
