Would the Teacher Have Forgotten Already?

From the mouth of a babe, and all he wanted, was for the punishment to get changed, so he can bring his toys to school, translated…

On the day my son was punished to not bring his toys to school, he’d started stalling in bed in the morning, insisted that he wanted to have a day of absent. As I changed him, I’d started nagging, explained to him why the teacher had punished him and the goals her punishment hoped to accomplish; although I don’t believe that the contents of his punishment were justified, but for the teacher, not allowing the kids to bring the toys to school was one of the limited options the teachers had in the no-physical discipline rule.

Before we set out, my son stammered, and as I’d asked him, he’d finally said, “Mom, I want to go to school and ask the teacher, that had he forgotten I wasn’t supposed to bring my toys to school today……”Oh my god, if you’d asked your instructor, then, he would’ve gotten reminded, I’d immediately carried this child in my arms, he is, so young, just, so very young still…

See, that is what worries this young child, the fact that he couldn’t bring his toys to school, because he misbehaved from before, and that was his punishment from his teacher, and this just shows, how the kids have a linear train of thoughts, that they don’t think in loops, or more complicated terms.
