The dissection continues, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The third-year student from World Journalism University was turned down by the younger female schoolmate he had a crush for, he’d been harassing her for three months since September; two days ago, he’d swung a fruit knife at her, hacked her three time, charged with attempted murder, the D.A. asked the judge to get him taken into custody; the Taipei District Court believed, that Chen is more than likely to attempt the murder again, and was at flight risk, mandated that he gets taken into custody.
The verdict stated, that from September to November, he’d harassed, stalked the woman multiple times, subdued her and pulled her from behind her back, to threaten her, and in no more ta month, he’d hacked her, in the short period of time, he’d “gotten close to the victim and became aggressive toward her”, clearly he wasn’t in control of his own emotions, and he’d committed the attempted murder in public, caused public health safety concerns, as well as the safety of the victim, that he should be taken into custody.
The families of the victim told, that the stab wounds were so close to her carotid, her mother cried yesterday, “Had it been a few more centimeters, who’s going to give me back a daughter?”; she’d told that her daughter had been harassed long-term, that she’d not pressed charges, as she didn’t want him to be labeled as dangerous, and she was hacked near fatally by him.
Although Chen claimed that the victim dodged his attacks, that was why he’d cut her neck and head, “I didn’t want to hurt her”, but the judge based off of the location of the injuries, and the times he’d hacked her, and the way, the location of her injuries, believed, that Chen had calculated every move of his attack, that it was, attempted murder.
And, that, is how this ended, and, even IF this PSYCHO gets real prison time, and after he’s released, chances will be, that he will, go after this woman again, and so, it’s no longer safe for her anywhere!
