The Drug Dealer Ran the Officers Over Causing His Girlfriend to Get Shot and Seriously Wounded

The detective squad from Chiayi yesterday morning was making a drug bust, the man rammed his car against the police vehicles to evade arrest, the police shot seven times, and injured the dealer and his cohabiting girlfriend too, then they’d chased for two more kilometers and finally, took them both down; Jeng, the girlfriend was shot in the back, with the bullet lodged in her abdomen, it’d injured her spleen, she had a broken rib, she was rushed to the hospital, had emergency surgery, still not out of critical danger yet.

The officers recounted, that it was dire in the moment, and all they could do was take the shots, “Thankfully I was quick to dodge, otherwise, I would’ve lost my leg.”, the suspect, the twenty-four year-old Lee had a through-and-through on the right calf, wasn’t in critical condition after being taken to the hospitals.

The detective squad received a tip awhile ago, learned that Lee used WeChat and LINE to deal drugs in the areas of Chiayi; after zooming in on him long-term, yesterday morning, the police had arrived at Lee’s residence to ambush, saw Lee driving with Jeng, they’d immediately shown themselves to arrest them.

But Lee wasn’t going to turn himself in, he’d driven in reverse in high-speed, rammed into the police squad cars, the two officers immediately started firing at the car, Lee still drove in full speed, and as he drove, he’d ditched the drug-filled coffee pouches.

As they chased to about five kilometers away, Lee and Jeng were both shot and in pain, they’d parked the car, and called for the help of an ambulance; the police sad, that as Lee waited for the ambulance to arrive, he’d tossed the ketamine into an outdoors aquarium of nearby residence.

The officer stated, that Lee was nicknamed “Wu-Kong Sun”, that in the process of the chase, he’d, discarded a lot of the drugs he was dealing, and in the end, they were only able to find a little over three grams’ worth of ketamine on him.

And so, the woman was merely, a bystander that was in the wrong place at the wrong time, she’d had a bad boyfriend who’d dealt drugs, and, that, is why she’d suffered as a collateral in his trying to evade police arrest.
