A man in the city of Pingdong, Huang, two years ago, because he was displeased at how his girlfriend, Ma mentioned that she wanted to break up with him, he’d poured gasoline on her, set her on fire, causing Ma to suffer serious burns all over her body; Huang was charged with attempted murder by the District Attorney’s Office and the D.A. asked for the death penalty for him; but in the first, second, and third trials, the judge believed, that his crimes didn’t get to the point that’s caused irreparable damages, that he should be casted away from the rest of the society, so, he was given the sentence of life-in-prison.
The Highest Courts believed, that although Huang’s methods of murdering Ma had caused her a great deal of pain, and she’d died after being in a lot pain, but Huang was without priors, and behaved quite well normally, that he wasn’t one who was used to using violence or someone who’s a repeated offender, and he’d not had any antisocial personality characteristics; and after Huang committed the crime, he had, shown remorse, and had wanted to settle with the families of the victims, to pay them for what he’d done, which showed he still had some small sense of conscience left in him, that he’d lost it emotionally, and committed murder because of a breakup.
The verdict pointed out, that Huang was displeased at how Ma moved out two years ago in November, and said she wanted to break up, suspected that she’d started seeing another man, and he was filled with anger because of that, on the afternoon of the 29th of the same month, he’d gone to ambush at Ma’s place, and, as she’d come home from work, he’d rushed up to her, and poured gasoline all over her body, then, set her on fire. Ma suffered over ninety percent burns on her body, had inhalation burns in her lungs, was pronounced dead.
Before Ma fell into a coma, she’d told her brother who did it to her, that it was her ex, Huang; and Huang, on his first trial, denied having the intentions of murdering Ma, and the judge couldn’t tell if he’d intended to murder his ex-girlfriend, sentenced him to life in prison. On his second trial, he’d admitted that he’d poured gasoline over his ex, wanting to kill her, stressed that he was deeply in remorse over what he’d done, and had many times, attempted to reach a settlement with the families of the victim, and on his second trial, the judge still sentenced him to life.
And yeah, this LOSER may think he’d escaped the DEATH penalty, what he doesn’t know is, that he will forever BE tortured by his own guilty conscience, of murdering his ex, simply because she’d called it off with him, and this loser DOESN’T deserve the DEATH PENALTY, he deserved much, much worse, to L-I-V-E!
