Repeated offenders still, he should get JAILED for a very LONG time after this time! From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Man, Chou Who’d Gotten Jailed for the Fifth Time in the Past Decade, for Drunk-Driving Ten Times, in This August or September, He’d Found to Have Gotten Drunk and Driven for the Fourth Time; for His Past Three Offenses, He Was Given a One Year Two Months and One Year Nine Month Sentence, the Fourth Offense, He’d Been Given a Year and Three Months, But Before He Goes and Serve the Time, He’d Needed to Go to a Rehab to Get Detoxed for Six Months.

Based off of understanding, on September 22nd, he was caught, for drunk driving for the FOURTEENTH time, but before the Keelung District Court sentenced him, he’d gotten caught for drunk-driving three more times; and his fifteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth time are still being investigated by the D.A.

The verdict pointed out, that Chou (age 50) was sentenced to thirty days in prison for his first time getting caught drunk driving in 2001, in 2006, he was sentenced to 35 day, he’d drunk and driven three times, and was fined $90,000N.T.s, fifty-five days and six months in prison, and the very next year, he’d done it again, and received seven months.

Chou served his time, and was on parole back in February of 2013, but, in the six months since, he was caught for drunk driving four more times, and was sentenced to eight months to a year, and he should be serving a total of three years and two months, plus the parole tossed back his requests, and he’d served for four months eleven days, he didn’t get out of prison until last May.

A little over a year later, Chou returned to his old ways. In August, September, he’d gotten arrested for drunk driving four times, the three previous times, he was sentenced to a year two months to a year nine months, and in the afternoon of September 22nd, he’d had four bottles of beer, and a few hours later, he’d ridden his motorcycle without his license home, and at seven that evening, he was stopped by the patrol officer, and his breathalyzer test showed 1.09 milligrams, he was found, for the FOURTEENTH time driving drunk.

The judge believed, that as a painter, Chou had become a habitual alcoholic, that he’d repeatedly broken the laws, and if he doesn’t go through rehab, and after he gets jailed this time, it’ll be hard, to prevent him from driving drunk again, he was given a year and three months, and forced into rehab for six months before he start serving his time in prison.

The police said, that Chou is unmarried, worked odds and ends jobs that were available, is a habitual “customer” for driving drunk, a “frequent visitor” to the local police stations. Chou, after he finished a job, enjoyed having a few cans of beer, and the alcohol with the Chinese medicines, as he was pulled over, his face was red, and wreaked of alcohol, but he was “compliant”, and as he’d been stopped by the police he’d always told them, “I’d been drinking”.

And so, because it’s his nth time driving drunk, that was why the judge finally decided to put him into rehab, before sending him to jail, because obviously, the previous times he got jailed, he’d learned, absolutely NOTHING, and, if he doesn’t go through the 12-step programs completely and thoroughly, he will NEVER really stop getting drunk and getting on his motorcycle or in his car, and he’s a danger to everybody else.
