A student from Fujen Catholic University, Wang was accused of using alcohol, to rape an older female classmate after she’d passed out, on the criminal charges, the first and second trial sentenced Wang to three-and-a-half years for opportunistic rape, and on the civil front, the Hsinbei District Courts mandated that he must pay the woman $900,000N.T.s.
The verdict pointed out, that the victim was impacted psychologically, and would have irrational fears, couldn’t go to sleep at night, and would often waken up in her nightmares, had started her therapy for long-term, she’d demanded $130 million N.T.’s from Wang; and Wang still claimed that he had too much to drink that day, that he’d, blacked out, that he didn’t think he’d, raped her, but the judge mandated him pay the woman $900,000N.T. based off of the psychologically sufferings the woman was experiencing; the verdict can be appealed.
This happened because the victim’s boyfriend posted that the dean of social work in Fujen Catholic University, Hsia and the investigating committee took down the case, it’d gotten the online community worked up; the official school website was even attacked for it.
The verdict stated, that in June of 2014, the twenty-two-year-old college student, Wang was invited to the graduation party of the victim, a party in the classrooms, with alcohol and food, for conversations; at around three in the morn, the older girl was just about passed out from drinking, and Wang volunteered to take her back to the dorms, and everybody else watched him leave with her.
After they rode the elevator to the first floor, Wang pulled the woman to the hallway next to the staircases, pulled down her pants, and attempted to rape her; the boyfriend of the woman, because he hadn’t heard from her came looking, and saw both Wang and his girlfriend without their pants on.
Back then, Wang was pulling his pants up, claimed, “I didn’t do anything, I’m wide awake, take her back to the dorms now, she needs you, and she’s the one who took her own pants off.” The boyfriend asked him, “Why did you have your pants off?”, Wang couldn’t answer him, then claimed, “I don’t know, I may be drunk.”
As others rushed over, they’d grilled Wang on how he could’ve done it, Wang changed his statements, said, “I’m dizzy, I’m drunk”, “She’s not wearing any pants, neither am I, what do we do?” “I thought I just got home, so I’d started, undressing, she thought she was home too, so she’d started, undressing as well”; as everybody who came was about to call an ambulance, Wang worried that the crime he’d committed might get found out, he’d attempted to stop the other students from calling the ambulance.
And because the forensics only found Wang’s D.N.A. outside of the woman’s body, there were no evidence for attempted rape, but the forensic showed, that Wang had, rubbed up against her.
This is a crime of opportunity AND passion, this LOSER took advantage of how drunk the woman became, and attempted to rape her, he didn’t rape her, he wasn’t able to, because the crowd got there, and had the crowd not made it to them when they had, he would’ve, raped her for sure.
