A Six-Year-Old Child Became Addicted to Using the Cell Phone, His Sight Worsened Quickly

A case that showed the adverse effects of EARLY exposures to hi-tech devices!!!  From the Newspapers, translated…

The elementary age children have serious eye problems, the ophthalmologist from Chi-Mei Hospital, Liu stated, that with the decline in ages of children using cell phones, the ratios of myopia is on the rise too.  Recently, she’d seen a six-year-old patient, who’d played the video games on the cell phones often, and in just THREE short months, his nearsightedness increased ten times, it’d thrilled the parents, and currently, the child is being treated with mydriatic eyedrops.

The department of health management in Kaohsiung stated, that every year after the summers, the children not only gained weight, their eyesight also worsened, some had increased by 200 degrees in just two months, because they’d spent long hours, staring at the computer screens or cell phones.

And so, because of how highly addictive these cell phone games are to the children (adults too!!!), that is why, with the prevalence of these hi-tech gadgets, there would be children, with worse and worse eye sights.
