Blue Skies

In between the plays, this, is the outfielder, spacing out!  Translated…

雅罕from the papers…

The baseball fields and the blue skies are very matched.  This is the it thing in the summers, called, the duel for “the sakes of the sunlight”, what’s intriguing about baseball, is that it’s made up of this calm, focus, and the instantaneous bust.  As an outfielder, you’d needed to be stealth as a leopard: waiting quietly by, between the pitches, slowly, move toward where the ball is projected to land; as soon as the baseball was hit, then, you’d, start, sprinting, zooming in on the prey, until the ball falls, into your glove, in that perfect parabola.

The poet, Mu Yang once described the boredom and solitude of the right fielder, listening to the wind, and gazing, into the distances.  Actually, the outfielders are full of force, and, between the plays, they’re able to, take a breather, gazing toward the distant blue skies, in the in-zones, that was when that moment of solitude came.  In that very moment, there’s, also, that romanticism of the philosopher; felt, that in this vast world, there’s, only him.  Waiting for that white ball spiked up high into the skies, then, started, chasing after it, like there’s, nothing else that matters, than to catch the ball, as the left fielder chased after the baseball, it’d become, focused like a pigeon, forgetting ALL the plays, the worries, and the stresses that he had felt previously.

getting lost in something like this, perhpas???  Photo from online…

So, this, is on how focused the players of the games are, and, because unless that baseball came your way, you wouldn’t need to be on your guards, so, more of the times, you’re just, looking up at the skies, lost in your imaginations, lost in your own thoughts, then, WHAM, the ball came your ways, and, focus!!!
