We couldn’t enter into the society, because our duties of protecting Taiwan is already done.
All our heritage that remained, were the retirement army villages, and, beef noodle soups,
Along with the forgotten glories, and the medals.
We are, the refugees of history, and now, a perfect target, of discrimination, and prejudices too.
We are now, aging slowly, in loneliness, and desolation, and, we’ll, march down that avenue before the President’s Office one last time.
So, this, is from the mind of a veteran, and, this is a PRECISE picture of what’s happened to the veterans all over the world, they’d, dedicated their lives for the sake of their countries, and yet, this, is how the government repay them for their services, for defending the country, and, this is, truly, sad………
