In the English Education, What’s Left of Halloween is Who’s the Coolest

Totally, MISSED the FOCUS of things here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

October 31st, is the traditional Western holiday of Halloween, before the date arrived, we, in the eastern realms are already, immersed in the spirits of dressing up.

Toward the globalization along with the changes in time, the changes in the ways we celebrate the traditional holidays, and, Halloween seemed to be, the first “shift” in the education, becoming more westernized.this, is what became, of this, originally RELIGIOUS ocassion…

An assortment of English, or English kindergartens or preschools, in order to show the parents, that their young had, already, been introduced to the holidays of the western world, added the celebration of this religious holiday into the children’s lives.

The Celtics of Britain celebrated Halloween by having the Catholic priests praying for the masses, offering the blessings, during the time when the ghosts came, people wore masks, and carved out the jack-o-lanterns with pumpkins, to scare away the evil spirits, to keep one’s own families safe.

A British paper once pointed out, that this holiday already LOST its original religious and traditional meaning, became an American commercial holiday.  The celebration of Halloween, is now, celebrated, in the metamorphosis of the original meaning of the occasion, in the kids and adults, dressing up, celebrating.

Behind the masks, the makeup, came how much we’d, absorbed from other cultures, the kindergartens or preschools, with a foreign teacher, plus the dual-language education promotion, Halloween thus, became the strongest “soft commercialism”, and slowly, all the local kindergartens followed suit, and everybody is “playing” Halloween now, how would the parents NOT get brainwashed; plus the strong affect from the American commercialism, the broadcasting of the T.V., the movies, it’d turned this originally religious occasion, into a commercial holiday.

Although, other than Ireland still keeping some of its Halloween traditions, the western community no longer believed, that this is a historical, or cultural holiday with the “stance” anymore, and, after we’d seen it all, which ghosts, goblins, or ghouls, can scare us?  Children aren’t fearful of the shadows from the ghosts of history, only worried, that the activities weren’t, “hot” enough, or, they weren’t, dressed up enough, to impress.

The focus of Halloween had already been, crumbled, with the mutations from the Western worlds, and through the Englishization, along with the commercialism, it’d not carried, any more “cultural baggage”.

In the atmosphere of Halloween, the commercials, the creative performances, along with the parents being involved in dressing up, it’d made Halloween symbolic to the younger children, or the younger generations, to kick the spending, so long as they’re happy.

Yeah, I really didn’t know what Halloween is about, but, based off this, Halloween had become yet, ANOTHER, too commercialized “holiday” occasion, like every other important day in the history of man, and this is really awful, and soon, the Taiwanese people will be, celebrating Thanksgiving, with children dressing up like Pilgrims, and Indians, but, uh, we didn’t have Pilgrims, coming to this island, nor Indians, helping them out either, so, uh, what the F*** (maxed out???) IS going on???
