There was a fire that broke out at a residential apartment on the fifth floor (an added-on steel shack), after the firefighters put out the flames, they’d found a charcoaled male corpse on the bed, the police identified him as the renter of the space, Wei, and based off of his FB, they’d ruled the case as a suicide, and they’re trying to clarify what had happened to him right now.
The local police department pointed out, that yesterday at noon they’d received a call from Wei, that someone had, “invaded into my home”, five minutes later, they’d received another call, saying that someone was breaking and entering, but, as the police went to check, there wasn’t sign of breaking and entering, as they left, they’d found the steel doors was opened, then, the door immediately got slammed shut again, the police redialed the caller back, and received “the man trying to barge in is outside my door”, and refused to open the door, and three hours after the police had left, the fire that killed the man happened.
The discovery of a burnt corpse in the residence was believed to not be so simple by the police, and, the first call came from Wei’s cell phone, and the second one came from Wei’s girlfriend’s cell, it seemed a bit weird.
But, the police got into contact with Wei’s girlfriend, and she’d told them, that Wei was very controlling, last week she’d used the excuse of her younger sister getting married, and left Wei, headed back to Miaoli, and told him she wanted to break up, and her cell phone was confiscated by Wei before she left Taipei too, the police reviewed over the messages on Wei’s FB pages, and deducted, that he’d committed suicide, because he couldn’t stand that his girlfriend was breaking up with him.
The Hsinbei Fire Department’s Third Squadron said, that the location was a four story building, and the place where the fire started was an illegally built fifth floor room over the rooftops, although the fire didn’t rage out of control, after they broke down the door, it’d only taken them five minutes to put out the flames, and, as they’d entered into the property, to clean up the scene, they’d found someone lying face down on the bed, already charcoaled, and, the firefighters thought it was a woman, based off of the 5’3 frame, but after they’d turned him over, they’d realized, that it was, a man.
The fourth floor resident told, that she’d heard arguing around noontime, and, not long thereafter, she’d heard furniture moving on the floor above, then, there was, black smokes. The nearby neighbors used the doorbell rang the fifth floor, nobody answered. And not long thereafter, the other neighbors cried out, “FIRE! Someone’s still inside!”
So, this is, another case of love becoming possession, because the woman wanted to break up, because she’d noticed the tendencies of this man of being controlling, and, this man committed suicide, by starting a fire in his resident, putting his entire building in danger.
