Where Did the Lesson of Life & Ethics Go?

On the tragedies of how love became murder, commentaries, from the Front Page Sections, reflecting on the recent tragedies of acid being splashed by a student to someone, causing one death and three injuries, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

It’s shameful, that there was the shocking news of acid being splashed in the NTU campuses, causing three injured, and one committing suicide.

There was a man who’d gone to see his priest, told him he was in pain, and, the priest said a prayer for him, and left him.  The very next day, the police came to the priest, asked, did the certain man come by last night?  The priest said, “Yes, what happened?”  the police told the priest that the man’s body was found in the ditches.  The priest was heartbroken, and started taking up counseling lessons, became an expert religious counselor, he’d used his own personal experiences, wrote about how those who are in pain had, interpreted the world, that the first thing is to allow those who’d come to us to have an outlet of pain, instead of blocking the exit to the individuals’ emotions, that we’d needed to, first empathize the individual’s pains, and to console with the person.

Many years ago, a boy I taught entered into my laboratory in the morning, showed me the scars on his chest, he’d found a new love, and, broken up with his ex from another school.  His ex felt taunted by him, and she’d grabbed the fruit knife on the tables, and stabbed it into his heart, it was only, a centimeter away from hitting his heart, then, he went into shock three times and was, rushed to the hospitals.

That very afternoon, the student took the ex to see me.  I’d heard her out, empathized with her feelings, and, confirmed her excellence in school and everything else, and, pointed out, if she’d wanted to spend her life with a man like this?  Or, was she only hurt, by how he was the one who’d mentioned breaking up first?  She’d started laughing, and, six months later, she found her steady new love.

The painful experiences in life, those who were participants, may become sublimated into one’s life, and became an empathetic therapist.

So, this, is how emotions run out of control for someone, and, after the woman stabbed the man, with the help of the professor, she’d, realized, that she didn’t really love the guy she thought she loved, and, what hurt her more, was that he’d found a new love and was breaking up.
