The C.E.O. of a Bio-Tech Company, Tang Had Monetary Disagreements with the Investors, on the 16th, She Was Forcibly Abducted and Threatened, “If You Don’t Make the Payments, I’ll Bury You Up in the Mountains.”  She was Taken to a Hotel in Hsinbei City and Kept There, Beaten, Tortured, Early Morning Two Days Ago, She Took the Time as the Suspects Were Asleep, Made Her Getaway, and Went to the Police.  The Police Arrested the Three Individuals, Charged Them with Obstructions of Freedom, Threats, and Physical Assault.

The manager of the detectives of the Second Subprecinct of the Taichung City Police Department, Yu pointed out last night, that Tang (age 55) ran a bio-tech company, her sister-in-law, Hou (age 40) is a pharmacist, invested six million dollars in her company, and her sister-in-law’s classmate, Yang (age 40), also invested one million dollars.

The bio-tech company two years ago, bankrupted, due to bad management, Hou and Yang couldn’t get the money they invested back from Tang, and, they’d paid the debt collectors to get their money back.

On the afternoon of the fifteenth this month, Hou asked Tang out at the shopping square, and, as Tang got in the car of Chang, she’d, turned around and left, as Tang got into the car, she thought something wasn’t quite right, tried to get off, but the doors were, already, locked; Chang forcefully drove Tang all the way up north, and threatened her, “You better get enough money, or, I’ll take you to the mountains and bury you.”, on the way, he’d continually threatened the victim to pay back the money, and threatened, “I know you have children”.

That very evening, Tang was taken to a motel in Banciao for over three hours, she was beaten up, threatened, and Yang also went to the motel, to ask for what was owed to her, in the end, Tang was driven to a motel in Wanli, Hsinbei City, and kept there against her will.

After being restricted of her movement, on the morning of the 16th at around eight, she saw that the man who took her, Chang was sound asleep and snoring, she’d immediately gotten away from the motel; she’d called out to help from an elderly who lived close by, and the elderly rode her on his motorcycle to the streets, and she’d flagged down the greyhound bus, to call for help, the bus driver heard what happened, and gave her a lift to the nearby police station.

As the Hsinbei Police Department got the reports, they’d notified the Taichung Second Precinct, and, on the early mornings of the seventeenth, the Taichung’s police department called Chang, Hou, and Yang in.

Hou denied having using violence to collect the debts, she’d admitted to having monetary disagreements with the victim; Yang said, that as she met up with the victim, Chang in Taipei, she’d shown her the check for a million dollars, to show she was asked to do this, and said, that she was told, to collect the debts owed.  Chang admitted to using violent means, causing the contusions on the victim’s face.

Based off of understanding, because the shipments Tang ordered was held in China for several months, she couldn’t deliver the goods, and had asked her youngest sister-in-law to borrow a million dollars from the pawn shops to make her ends meet.

And so, because you couldn’t get your money back, you’d, resorted to using violence, to attempt to get what’s owed to you back, and, where did THAT get you?  On the wrong side of the laws, and, maybe, the money was owed for too long, and the one who’d loaned the money to the woman was pressed by money, and so, she’d, resorted to calling on the debt collectors to do her bidding for her.
