I Went to Visit Your Mother Today…

I went to visit your mother today, and, she’d, deteriorated even more than the last time I saw her!  She’s now, immobilized, she’d forgotten, how to use her leg muscles, and there’s just, this LACK of muscle tone in her legs for her to walk.

And she’d, started, slurring her words, like a drunk man too!  I went to visit your mother today, and you weren’t there, you were, NEVER there, just like, you’d never been, there before for me in my life, but, I’d gotten, used to your absence already.like this???  Not my photo…

I went to visit your mother today, she mistook me for you, and called me by your name, and, I just, didn’t feel right, correcting her, as she’s already very elderly, and, what good would it do, to point out, that I’m not you?

I went to visit your mother today, she was, okay, when I entered into her quarters, but, as I’d left, I got a call from the home, that she was, throwing a fit, but, I was, already on a bus, driving away, there was no way, that I could, get off, and go back to her again!

family days are always teh happiest…not my photograph still…
