A Homeless Man Died Inside a Net Café, and Nobody Noticed for Two Hours

A case of untimely death, with the causes of death, unknown, probably due to embolism from sitting long hours and playing the online games, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A forty year-old man Hsiao yesterday in the morning hours went to spend time at an arcade shop, about an hour later, he’d fallen backward, with his legs hung loose on the chairs, two hour later, he was discovered by the other consumers, already dead.  The police found the medicine bags from an emergency room, they’d suspected that it was his illness, combined with him staying up all night long that’s cost his life, the D.A. would be conducting an autopsy to clarify the cause of his death.

There was a sudden death case at a net café in Tainan this month as well; the police discovered, that Hsiao was a registered homeless person, he’d begged to live; based off of the owners of the arcade, Hsiao had frequented the shop once a week, he’d loved playing the old machines, and slept in the shop too.

The store surveillance showed, that at around 1:30 yesterday morn, Hsiao leaned backwards suddenly, back then, there was no one else at the shop, and two hours later after the other customers came, that was when he was discovered.

The police said, that there was only a medicine bag from Kaohsiung Military Hospital and his health insurance card on him, and the medicine bag showed that he was only in the E.R. just two days ago, they’d suspected that he was malnourished.

So, this man died in an arcade, and it was late, and nobody else was around, until two hours after his death as the players came in, he was finally, discovered.  This is just another case of untimely death…
