The Taipei Medical School Hospital’s former physician, Dr. Hong-Hwa Liang was accused of taking footages of his female patients topless when he did their mammograms, there were, a total of thirty-seven victims, and thirty of them insisted on pressing charges, the Taipei District Attorney’s Offices indicted Liang on thirty counts of obstructions of privacy, and asked the courts to punish him based off of each and every count.
Based off of understanding, Liang admitted to placing the recording pen on his shelves in his clinic, but claimed it was for the sake of medical research. Afterwards, Liang was very proactive in discussing settling with his patients, there were seven of the victims willing to take the deals, the remaining thirty insisted on pressing charges.
The married Dr. Liang was very famous in the breast cancer surgeries realm, he’s a shiny start that came out of Taipei Medical School, but, two years ago, he had an affair that got found out with a nurse, Lin, and was accused of filming Lin in sex and her buttocks without her consent, the D.A. charged him with obstruction of secrets, and Lin was indicted with obstruction of family, and Liang was fired from the medical school.
Two years ago in October, the Taipei Medical School held a conference, pointed out, that a nurse told, that while Liang was seeing his patients, he was suspected of placing a recording pen on the desk to film the female patients’ breasts. The Taipei Medical School set up an investigation unit to look into the matter, and ambushed Liang’s practice and found, that there was, the recording devices, took the machines into custody, and made sure that the footages didn’t get leaked out; after the medical ethics board reviewed the matter, they’d found Liang to have broken the rules of being a physician, warned him, and put him out of his practice, and within the year, it was mandatory that he take an ethics course.
The D.A. and the police reviewed over the contents of the footage, and found that there were thirty-seven female patients that Liang was seeing per day who were, secretly filmed, and most of them were younger, pretty women, the D.A.s offices and the police called in the victims, and, after the thirty-seven women whom Liang secretly filmed learned of what he’d done, most wanted to press charges against him.
So, here, we still have a peeping tom who POSED as a doctor, and, because of his work, it’d given him easy access, to women, and, because this LOSER couldn’t control his urges, that, is what caused him to be in so much trouble, and, his license to practice should be REVOKED and he should NEVER get it back again!
