A Seventy-Four Year-Old Elderly Man, Huang with his Seventy-Four Year-Old Wife of Fifty-Four Years Were Found Yesterday, DEAD, by Their Son in Their Residence in Taibao, Chiayi; the police found that the Farmer, Huang, Had Brain Surgeries from Before, Suspected That He Was Too Fatigued from Caring for His Own Wife, and Couldn’t Withstand Living with His Illness, He’d Strangled His Wife in Her Sleep, Used a Sickle to Let Out the Blood, Killing Himself Afterwards, So They Can Die Together.
The local police substation received the call from the elderly farmer’s son and daughter-in-law, said, that the parents were found dead in their bedroom, the police originally thought it was a robbery gone bad. But, they’d found no tempering of the windows and doors, and, based off of the evidence left behind, the police suspected that the elderly farmer strangled his wife to death first, put the clothes on her properly, and attempted to strangle himself with rope, but wasn’t successful, and used the sickle to cut his artery, the blood spattered all over the walls, and, he’d, lain down next to his wife, and bled to death, there was a scout’s rope at the scene.
The police found the surveillance footage of Huang buying two Scout’s ropes for $40N.T.s two days ago in the morning, capturing footages of the elderly being alive before he died, and, the police also found the receipts for the scouts’ rope at his home.
The D.A. examined the bodies, found there to be no poisons in them, the elderly wife, Gong had been dead longer, the rope was tied tightly around her neck, her left ear bled from the pressures, they’d suspected she was, murdered; and the elderly farmer, Huang had the strangulation markings on his neck that were self-inflicted on him, the cause of death being him bleeding out after stabbing himself on the left arm with the sickle, there was no note.
The police said, that Huang the elder farmer had brain surgeries, and had headaches often, his wife had spinal column surgery, and was immobilized, they suspected the elderly man was too stressed from taking care of his own wife, that he’d, strangled her to death, then, cut himself; but the sons couldn’t accept the reasons for the parents’ death, they’d said that they were in love, that although their mother had difficulties walking, but was still mobile, that his father would help out with the plantings, that they’d never heard the parents spoke of how tired they’d become, of their illnesses and not wanted to live.
So, what had, caused this elderly man, to kill his own wife, or if he had, killed his own wife, then committed suicide, nobody knows and nobody will EVER know, because the only people with the answers to that, are now, dead, leaving the questions behind, for their children to carry, to ponder, why their parents had, taken their own lives?
