A seventy-six year-old elderly, Lo, used reasons of being diagnosed with diabetes, not being able to take care of his own living as reasons and asked his two children to take care of him. The daughters claimed, that eighteen years ago, their father had, deserted their mother and them, not only did have an affair, stopping all contacts with them, he’d not bothered to show up at their mother’s funeral, and asked the courts, to toss back the claims of them needing to pay him the money for caretaking. The courts found, that Lo had properties registered under his name, along with a lot of money to make his own ends meet, and tossed back his requests; he’d fought for an appeal, but the judge tossed back the appeal.
Lo the elderly claimed, that after he’d divorced, he’d moved up to Taipei on his own, and his daughters misjudged him as abandoning his family and children, they’d rarely contacted each other, but recently, he was diagnosed with diabetes, and needed surgeries, his daughters starting in 2006 didn’t take up the responsibilities of looking after him, and he’d sued his daughters to pay him over $12.5 million in owed support, the over $200,000N.T. in medical fees, along with $120,000N.T. per month for him to live off of.
The daughters rebutted, that his father poured hot water over her face, and he’d not taken her to the hospital, instead, he’d, run off, left his children and wife, and moved to Taipei with the woman he’d had an affair with, and as their mother passed away, and he’d, married the woman he was having the affair with very shortly, didn’t show up for their mother’s funeral, and attempted to get his share of the money their mother left behind.
The daughters pointed out, that their father was more than mobile, lived off easily, had a lot of assets in properties and investments in his name, could live off of them. And, there were times, when their father couldn’t get more money from their mother that he’d started physically and verbally abusing their mother, took away all of their furniture, as well as appliances, broke the windows and the doors of their residence, and in the end, the courts ruled that he didn’t have any rights, of the money that their mother had left them.
The courts found, that there were, seventeen properties under Lo’s name, as well as six separate investments, the properties were worth up to $24.56 million N.T.s, and even if his wife had, disinherited him, he still had $15.54 million N.T. in assets, and it’s clear, that he had, more than enough money. Before Lo left home, he’d physically abused, insulted his own children many times, and that this had, alleviated his daughters’ responsibilities toward him in old age, the judge tossed back his claims.
Lo fought against the rulings, believed, that the properties under his name were mostly scattered as roads, that there’s, not any, actually money to be made off of them, and asked the judge to abandon the rulings. The daughters claimed, that their father had countless extramarital affairs his whole life, and would cuss them out when he’d talked to them, and he was so shameless, in demanding alimony payments from them, and hoped that the judge can rule against his favor. The courts investigated, and believed, that Lo does, own properties, and had investments totaling over millions of dollars, and can sustain his own livelihood, and tossed back his claims to get his children to pay alimony to him.
This is still, classic DEADBEAT father behavior, and this LOSER had the nerves, now that he’s elderly, to come crawling back to his children, WHOM he’d abandoned from 2006, because he believed, that they were his children, that he had, donated SPERMS to MAKE them, and thankfully, this judge saw, that this DEADBEAT had, abandoned his own young when they were children, and not even showed up to their mother’s funerals, and ruled against him.
