Ran Over His Younger Brother & Sister-in-Law with a Car, Splashed Gasoline on the Police Officers, Before He Set the Fire, He Was Arrested

This was caused by the splitting up of the parents’ assets, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Wu, living in Wenshan District had engaged himself in a long-term court battle on the division of assets with his 61-year-old younger brother, after the court hearings on the 27th of this month, he was suspected of running over his younger brother and sister-in-law with his car, causing his sister-in-law to be severely injured and she was in critical condition as the paramedics got her to the hospital.  Yesterday, Wu was discovered in the hospital, carrying gasoline by the police, as he got away in a cab, he found the police tailing him, Wu got out immediately, then, poured the director of the substation, Feng, thankfully, Feng was able to subdue Wu immediately and arrested him, Wu was charged with public endangerment and resisting arrest and attempted murder charges.

The police found, that Wu’s mother died six years ago, and, the first-floor residence at Xinglong Road Sec. 3 was shared by the brothers.  Because Wu failed in his business ventures, his younger brother took out a mortgage loan on the house for his older brother, but the older brother said “I didn’t get any money”, they’d gotten into altercation over the matter, and, there were, $4,000,000N.T.s in the monetary problems, they’d sued each other in court.  And because the younger brother had proofs from the statements of the bank that he’d paid the mortgage, the judge gave the property to the younger brother.

Based off of understanding, two years ago, the courts forcibly told the older brother to move out, and, as the courts sent officials to evict him, the older brother refused to move, he’d carried a gas keg to fight the officers; three months later, the courts sent law enforcement to carry out the decree, and Wu poured gas on the police, and fought hard, to not leave, the police took Wu into custody.

Currently, the house was vacant, nobody lived there, but, on the 27th of the month, after Wu went to court, he’d, run over his own younger brother and sister-in-law in front of the property.

The police reported, that as Wu’s younger brother saw the car coming, he got out the way in time, but his wife was, rammed into, flew up in the air a meter high, then, fell hard onto the pavements, her head, her abdomen bleed, she was rushed to the hospital, and in life-threatening danger.  After emergency surgery, she was in stable condition, she’s in the hospital for a stay.  Wu drove to escape, and ditched the car at the Wanfang Road entrance, and took the bus away.

Yesterday, Wu’s younger brother went to visit his wife at the hospital, and found that a man looked like his brother, and, the office manager of the substation, Feng was keeping the grounds close to the hospital, and saw Wu get away in a cab, he got on his motorcycle and followed them all the way, to the Xinhai Tunnel, stopped the driver; and, Wu got out, then, he’d, poured gasoline all over the assistant office manager, Feng.

Feng was covered in gasoline, it was very critical, seeing how Wu had intentions to light him up with a lighter, he’d gone up, and subdued Wu, Wu hollered, “Injustice!”  The police investigated, that in the plastic bag that Wu carried, there was, a two one-liter plastic bottle with gasoline in them, he’d planned to hurt someone at the hospital, as Wu was interrogated, he’d said, that he didn’t feel that the ruling was justified, that was why he’d run over his brother and sister-in-law.

So, this is caused by the division of the assets, the brother turned on one another because of monetary disagreements, and, that was enough, to drive the older brother, to attempt to commit murder.
