A seventy-seven year-old investor, Shih-Lang Lin believed, that his ninety-year-old friend, Yong-Feng Lo can get the rights of lands owned by the country, and the land’s development rights, over twenty years, he’d invested a total of $40 million N.T.s, but, there was, no further development of the matter, after he couldn’t get the money he’d put in back from his friend, he’d called his sons to “teach him a lesson”, but the sons had, murdered the man, and chopped him up into pieces and discarded the parts in the wild, the Hsinbei District Attorney’s Office charged the father and sons with murder.
The D.A. believed, that Lo was elderly, and even IF Lin had reminded his sons, “Don’t kill him”, but he’d, sent his sons to “teach” the elderly a lesson, which showed that Lo may die in the processes, that there may not have been the intents, and his sons were there, to collect debts for me, that, was why they’d, killed the man, so naturally, he was, an accomplice.
The D.A. found, that since 1991, Lo claimed to Lin that he can get the preliminary rights to purchase the land of over 25,000 km2, and afterwards, he’d borrowed over $40 million N.T.s from him, promised to pay him over $62 million dollars interests included back; but, there’s no news of the land developments, and Lin believed, that Lo was, cheating him.
On July 21st two years ago, Lin used the excuse of having found more investors to meet up with Lo, and used the excuse of it wasn’t convenient, that he was looking after his own grandson, and tricked Lo to his own son’s rental place; Lin told his two sons, to TEACH Lo a lesson, to MAKE him pay back the debts.
Lin (age 49) and his younger brother (age 48) first bounded Lo’s legs and wrists, taped his mouth shut, and pressed him to pay back the money, but Lo wouldn’t, they’d used the inside robbers of a bicycle tire, and strangled him to death, chopped up the body, then, took the pieces to various forest regions to discard.
Lo was murdered and lost contact, and the families suspected that the Lins had something to do with it, but they’d denied the accusations. Until December 4th of last year, as a bone collector hiked up the mountains, and found Lo’s remains, that was when the case saw the light.
After the murder, Lin got on a plane, fled to the U.S., and, in June of this year, he’d returned back with the status of a U.S. citizen, to settle his assets and wire the money to the States; and the police caught up with him before he was set for departure.
And the motive of murder here is still, MONEY, because this man felt that his friend was trying to CHEAT him, and had, scammed him so much money, and he’d, had his two sons to commit murders for him, and the two ADULT sons did it too, wow, why are you following your daddy’s orders when they’re wrong? Oh yeah, because in order to be fitting sons, you MUST, obey your parents, right??? Uh, get real here!!!
