An officer, Huang from the Luodong Police Substation of the Yilan Police Department suspected that his wife was having an affair with a man named, Hsu, he’d had his coworker log into the public records systems, and he’d gone to catch his wife and Hsu cheating on him; he’d found his wife and Hsu in the same room, and clubbed Hsu to seriously injuring him, and demanded that Hsu signed the checks, managed to extort the man for close to a million dollars N.T.s.  The Yilan D.A.s offices indicted the officer on breaching the privacy laws, along with threats to extort money.

The Luodong Substation stated, that Huang (age 49) was about to retire by the fifteenth of next month, he is currently on leave, and will be on unpaid leave until the day he retires.

The D.A. investigated and found, that the officer, Huang suspected that his wife was having an affair with Hsu; in November of last, he’d asked a coworker who didn’t know what was going on to get Hsu’s personal information, and three days later, he’d gone to Hsu’s place with a 22-year-old friend, Lin, to catch his wife cheating on him.

As Huang busted through the door, he saw his wife and Hsu in the same room, he’d immediately taken the club he had and beaten Hsu severely, causing Hsu to suffer multiple injuries on his neck, upper limbs, chest and right knee, and at the end, Huang threatened him, “You don’t sign the checks, I won’t allow you to leave”.  Hsu was forced to sign a check of $10,000N.T. and a loan of one million dollars N.T.; as Huang left, he’d taken Hsu’s national identification card with him too.

Hsu had paid a total of nearly a million dollars N.T. to Huang and Lin, but Huang refused to give him back his identification card and the signed check, so Hsu reported it to the police, and that, was when the police department realized, that one of their own had, committed these crimes.

As the D.A. interrogated, the officer, Huang admitted to beating Hsu up, and having his coworker look up Hsu’s personal information, but denied having extorted him, said that Hsu had willingly paid him up, but the D.A. didn’t believe his testimony.

So, all of this started, as the officer’s wife was caught, cheating with this other man, and the officer wanted to retaliate toward the other man for enticing his own wife, so, he’d broken the laws, and he’d, lost his senses, while in pursuit of what he believed, to be “justice” for what the other man and his wife had done, and in the process, he’d broken, many laws.
