Slim, the Sights in the Countrysides, a Poem

Translated…

Those Young & Healthy Men

Rushed into the Life of the Mines in the Cities

Looking Upon Those Foreign Species They’d Been Looking at for So Long

Then, Barged in, Intruded, into the Countrysidelooks like this!  Not my phootraph…

The Elderly Farmers, Originally, with Nothing to Do

Can Only Use Their Hoes & Bodies as a Defensive Wall

The First War, No Avail, Fought Again, for Three More Times

Only, that the Wars, were Never Won, by the North

The Desolate Became, the Owners of the Fields

The Droughts, Came from Time to Time, for Their Visits

and this, IS the downside…not my photo still…

The Economic Depressions, Set Up Roots in the Alleys

The Aged Farmers, Fatigued and

Worried Too, Had Been Strained in the Bodies and the Mind as Well

Became Slimmed Down, with the Villages Which Fell Under the Attacks

It’s Said, that Slim is a Dis-Ease

Although It’s, Spread

However, there’s, NO Cure

So, this is the result of urbanization, because people in the city felt, that they are running out of spaces to live in, that is why, they’re, invading into the countryside, destroying the ways of life established there, ruining the land.
