Call this, fast-acting KARMA if you will!!!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Tsai was suspected of stealing out of the net café customer’s bags, he only got on his motorcycle to escape for no more than two minutes, he’d crashed into a car and injured himself, and the location of the car wreck, was RIGHT in front of the police substation; as the officers sorted through the car crash incident, they’d received the call from the net café, and rushed to the location, reviewed the surveillance, found that the thief was Tsai, the officer immediately called up his coworker, and took Tsai into custody.

The police investigated, that the 31-year-old Tsai arrived in Kaohsiung from Taipei to work odds and ends jobs.  Two days ago he’d gone to the net café on Nanshen Street to use the internet, found that the customer next to him, Huang was away in the restrooms, left the bag with the cell phone, batteries, and other hi-tech devices at the computer station, Tsai was suspected of lifting the backpack away, and escaped on his motorcycle.

Tsai had left the net café only one minute, and rode for 500 meters, and he’d crashed into a sedan with the right of way at Chihnan and Nanzi intersection, he’d fallen off the motorcycle, had abrasions on his hands, and legs too.

The location of his crash was right outside the police substation, the officers, Wu and Chen heard the impact, rushed outside, started directing the traffic, and reported the incident to the traffic patrol; right after that, the substation received a call on there was a thief that came out of the net café, they’d had their coworkers to redirect the traffic, and rushed over to the net café.

The female officer, Chen reviewed over the surveillance footage, found that the man looked very much like Tsai who’d just crashed the motorcycle, she’d immediately phoned back to the station, to have her coworkers keep Tsai there.  Took Huang the woman whose bag was stolen to the crash site, and her small backpack was there, and the police arrested Tsai; Tsai admitted how his sense of greed got the better of him, but couldn’t imagine that he’d crashed the motorcycle and got caught, right in front of the police substation.

That just makes you think more than TWICE (as twice may not be enough???), before you do something BAD, because karma will get you, and for this man, he’d not only going to spend time in jail, but he also sustained some physical injuries from the crash too, and, the motorcycle owner may also, want him to pay for the damages too…
