Soliciting a Robbery Companion on FB, Two Hours After They’d Committed the Robbery, They Were Caught

Yeah uh, there are, ALL kinds of job postings online, and you were enticed by the big pay-off, knowing (or maybe not!!!) the risk you’re taking???  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Ting had planned to rob a jewelry store, last month he’d posted an add “two hours for $40,000N.T.” ad, to get his partner-in-crime, after Chang, another man called to ask what the job was about, he’d agreed to co-conspire the robbery.  That very day, the two men headed to a jewelry shop in the city of Taichung, they were attempted of robbing two gold necklaces in the total value of $100,000N.T.s, afterwards, they were both caught, the Taichung District Attorney’s Office charged both men with robbery.

The indictment pointed out, that Ting (age 21), on the morning of the 13th last month, planned to rob a jewelry shop in Houli, Taichung, because he’d needed a partner in crime, he’d posted an ad “partner wanted”, and posted that $40,000N.T. will be earned for only two hours’ of work, Chang (age 21) immediately contacted him for the job.

After Ting told him what the job entailed, Chang agreed to be his partner in crime in the robbery.  That afternoon at three, Ting entered into the jewelry shop, pretending he was looking for something, as the shop workers took out two gold necklaces, priced at $100,000N.T.’s, Chang rode up on his motorcycle with his wife, who didn’t know what he was planning, to act as a customer at the shop, the shop owner didn’t find it suspicious, opened the door for them, Ting ran off with the gold necklace and made his escape.  After the two men successfully robbed the shop, they’d gone to the small park close to the Houli Train Station to split up what they’d robbed.

As the district police were examining the details of the case, they’d found that the time that the Changs showed up was way too coincidental, and tracked the roadside surveillance, found that Ting and Chang arrived at the park at different time, and suspected that they were coconspirators; that very night, the police went to Chang, and after they got through to him, he’d admitted to conspiring to rob, and claimed, that he’d stashed his share of what he’d robbed inside his home, but the police weren’t able to find it.  The very next day, the police went with the lead and arrested Ting, and only managed to get back the $4,000N.T. he robbed from the shop.

So, you’re, stupid to think that it’s, easy money, and, perhaps, the teenage years are, longer these days, because we would EXPECT a TWENTY-YEAR-OLD ADULT to have more sense, but these two losers didn’t, and perhaps it’s their teenage mindset, of NOT being able to FORESEE the consequences of their own misbehavior, that’s made them believe that they could, get away unscathed, but the police caught up with them both, and they are now, criminals, with priors!
