Shocking, isn’t it???  And, there’s, still, a SERIES of after-effect, from this big problem too!!!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Social Welfare units found, that over half of children who were abused show emotional difficulties, psychologists stated, that a lot of the children don’t show the signs when they were younger, that is why it’s, easily, overlooked, but in their teenage years, they’d started developing their own belief systems, and that, would be when the emotional problems started showing up.

The Social Services Department of the city of Tainan stated, that most of the child protection cases they’d encountered, there were a lot of children with signs of learning disabilities or emotional troubles, but, because not all of them are registered as such, it’s hard for them, to estimate the correct number.  Based off of the cases that the social welfare units came into contact with, there were, about fifty cases that showed emotional difficulties.

The clinical psychologist in Chih-Mei Medical Center, Huang stated: most of the children who were abused would relive the moments of trauma repeatedly, which caused them to become unstable, nervous, lacking self-confidence, and couldn’t feel that sense of achievement they’d, needed to have.

Huang said, because every child is different in their levels of resilience, once there are changes in the environment, they get sick easily, and are more emotionally unstable, especially during the time that school’s starting, as they entered into a brand new environment, other than lacking attention, being emotionally upset, crying, some of the kids who are introverted would easily feel anxious as well, and if they have a stricter instructor, then, they would avoid school, and start lying, to get their ways.

So, this, is a series of CHAIN reaction, one thing is the cause of another, and another, and another, and the end result?  Children with problems in adaptation, which becomes, adults with issues, and so, it all still started, in their childhood years, and yet, there’s no way we can possibly make sure, that every single kid on this planet NEVER gets abused, can we?  Of course N-O-T!  So, what CAN we do???  Uh…hmmmmmmmm……I dunno!
