We have here, someone who’d, ABUSED the systems, and attempted to CHEAT the government, very awful here! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
The social welfare laws stated, that the families with members able to work but refused to, and attempted to stay on social welfare, the government can cancel the welfare programs offered. But a lot of parents are “habitually out of a job”, and the children became the victims of this lack of economical support; and if the situation doesn’t improve, the government can have the choice of stepping in, there was a case of an infant girl who was adopted out to northern Europe, and her life had changed completely.
Jiang is able-bodied, but long-term unemployed, belonged to the lower economic statuses, has three young children, and relied solely on social welfare to help them; although he did get help, trying to get matched to a job but he didn’t have a high enough level of education, with no viable skills, and he’d smoked and chewed betel nuts, and most of the employers in the service industries avoided people like him, and even if he was hired, he’d dropped out from working shortly thereafter, and in the end, he’d still, lived off of government assistance.
Jiang’s children couldn’t have their meals regularly, the eldest entered into elementary school this year, because she was delayed in learning, she was sent to the help classes; the families and friends worried that the child may suffer, they’d offered him money, later on, they’d found out, that Jiang spent the money they gave him on cigarettes, alcohol, and betel nuts, and that when he had troubles in his own life, he’d used his children as punching bags. And if someone suggested that he turned his own children to the social welfare department, Jiang would scream at them, told them that he loved his own children, that he has the ability to raise them, to care for them.
And, if the case if even worse, then, the public offices can step in. An Indonesian female laborer had a daughter in the city of Hsinchu four years ago, she’d feared that she will get deported, and three days after her daughter was born, she’d, abandoned her own young at the hospital, and the child became without a nationality.
The city government’s social service department searched for the mother with help from the Offices of Immigrations, but she didn’t turn up, in the end, they’d gone by the UN children’s right’s laws, and had the mother stripped off her rights as the child’s parent. In March of 2016, the courts gave the custody of the infant girl to the mayor of Hsinchu, Lin; but because the father of the infant was unknown, and her mother isn’t a citizen here, there’s no way the infant will have the nationalities, and so, they’d adopted her to a western country instead.
So, this kid gets bounced around, but, perhaps, leaving here would be the best viable option for her, as she wouldn’t be able to get any status in Taiwan, and that just showed, how there are, so many irresponsible parents in the world, and how these adults didn’t think clearly, before they had their young, and there are just, so many MORE unfitting parents out here, in the REAL world that we’re currently living in, and it makes you wonder: WHAT happens to all the children who came out from these parents? Oh yeah, they’re, TOSSED away, like they’re, DEFECTIVE products, aren’t they???
