An Eighty-Year-Old Man Molested a Young Child, and He’d Feigned Pity in Court, But the Judge Didn’t Buy it

Suited him right, don’t you think???  And, can you EVER imagine, an elderly who behaved so badly?  Well, here’s just ONE example of that!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A seventy-nine-year-old elderly man was accused of sexually molesting a young girl next to a temple, the child told her mother, and her mother had, reported it to the police.  The elderly wanted to settle with the family, and used the excuse of how he’s elderly, and wasn’t fitted for jail anymore, but the families of the victim hoped, that the judge can sentence him more severely, and the Taichung District Courts gave him three years two months for forced sexual molestation of the young child.

The child’s mother, when the court was in sessions stated, that her daughter’s grades were very high from before, but after the incident, her daughter couldn’t sleep at all, she’ hoped, that the judge, can give the elderly a heavy sentence.  The victim child testified, that as the elderly touched her pubic areas, “I was shocked, dumbfounded, so fearful, I couldn’t talk, I’d, forgotten, how to speak.”

The elderly admitted to what he’d done to the child in the interrogations by the police and the district attorney, said he was willing to settle with the family and the young girl, but the family refused his offer, and the man claimed, that he is already eighty years old, with multiple ailments and conditions, that he wasn’t fitted to get sent to prison, and begged the judge to give him a lighter sentence and put him on probation instead.

The verdict stated, that on the afternoon of January 2^nd, the elderly was riding his bicycle in the plaza of a temple in Taichung, he saw “Autumn” the young girl so young, so easily picked on, he’d used the excuse of teaching her to ride, and told her, that he wanted to tell her a secret.  Then, he’d pulled her to a distant place in the temple, and forcefully sexually molested her.

The judge took into considerations that the elderly was already seventy-nine when he’d committed the crime, that the child was only eight, and he knew she was too young, and still couldn’t keep himself under control, and still forcibly molested her, that his behaviors had, severely, impacted the victim’s growth, and afterwards, he wasn’t forgiven by the victim, and so, he didn’t qualify for probation, and he was sentenced to three years and two months in prison.

Yeah, that, is how LOOSE the law works!  You only get sentenced for a little more than three years in prison, for hurting an innocent child, and how is that just, huh?  And, considering how much this young child is going to go through, had already gone through in her process of recovery, and heaven will only know, if she will EVER, be fully recovered, and, this elderly, used his AGE as an “excuse’, and attempted to trick the judge to pity him, but gladly, the judge didn’t buy it!
