A case of, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, and, you still want your parents to get back together??? From the Front Page Sections, translated…
Last month, Chang got divorced from his wife, Chou, of over twenty years, their son, in order to resolve the displeasures between them, two evenings ago, he’d asked both his parents to a friends to talk, but, Chang lost emotional control, and started waving a knife at Chou, and hollered to her, “You kept lying, I want you to die!”, but thankfully, Chou was rushed to the hospitals, and, her life was spared; Chang however, was charged with attempted murder.
The Nuan-Nuan Substation of the Keelung Police Third Precinct investigated and found, that Chang (age 54) and his ex-wife from China, along with his son lived in Taoyuan together, they’d gotten along very well together; a while ago, the couple started arguing more and more, in the end, they were, divorced, Chang moved back to Yilan alone.
Chang’s son (age 25) in order to resolve the conflict between his parents, two evenings ago at around six, asked them to go with him to a friend’s house, to discuss the assets after their divorce, and hoped that the parents can get everything out into the open; but, Chang had prepared a knife, stashed it inside the bathrooms, and half way through the confrontations, he’d lost control of his emotions, went to the bathrooms and grabbed the knife he’d stashed and hacked at his own ex-wife.
“You keep on lying, I will KILL you!” as Chang was committing the attempted murder of his own ex, he was very emotional, and Chou suffered a puncture wounds on her right waist, combined with internal bleeding, was severely injured, she was rushed to the hospital, and she didn’t die; the police came and arrested Chang, he said, “I admitted to trying to murder my ex-wife!”
Chang claimed, that his ex had been turned against him by her friend, suspected that she had a hex on her, and slept around, that, was why she’d demanded that they get a divorce; Chang’s son told, that he’d originally wanted to use the opportunity to help resolve whatever issues there were between his parents, but, his father ended up, hacking his mother down, he couldn’t understand why his father had done it.
“As we saw the knife it was already too late!” Chang’s son told the police, as his father made his way out of the bathroom, he’d gotten behind his mother, and flashed the knife, then, STABBED her in the back, he and the homeowner went up and got the knife away from his father, his mother was shocked and leapt forward, tipped over the hot water bottle and got a burn, after she ran out of the house, she’d fallen into the ditch, that, was how she’d sustained such serious injuries.
So, this son tried to put his parents back together, without realizing, that too much had already happened, and that they weren’t meant to be together, and that still just showed, how we, as children, should NOT involve ourselves into our parents’ marriage, but, how can we not? As their marriages affected us, although we’re, sort of, an uninvolved “third party”………..
