After he died, his wife came from China, to get her share of his assets, claimed, that as Chih was writing down his will, he was already incapacitated in making the decisions for himself, that the will was null and void, that she does, have a right to a share of his assets.
As the court was in session, Chih’s daughter pointed out, how her father and stepmother hadn’t lived together for fifteen years, reason being how she’d abused and insulted her father, that he could no longer put up with her, that, was why he’d escaped to the south to dodge her, that while he was writing his will he was more than lucid, and that the splitting of the assets was done when her father was capable of deciding, in his free will.
The judge found, that eighteen years ago, Chih had filed a complaint with the immigrations that his wife was “mean, threatened and harassed him, that she’d withdrawn from his retirement pension without his consent, starved him, caused him to be in danger, and he’d been ill for years on end, he’d moved in with his own daughter in the southern regions of the island already.” “Send her back home now”, and he’d signed the will too, “based off of my wishes, I shall NOT give my wife any of my assets.”
The judge reviewed over the DVD of the will, confirmed, that as Chih was setting up his will, he’d signed his own name very slowly, and the witness told him, “print your hand”, and he’d shown his thumb, and so, the judge believed, that “not giving his wife a cent of his inheritance” was his will.
So, because he’s now dead, and, you were married to him once, you thought it’s your right, to get a share of his inheritance? Well, what of how you’d, abused him? From solely just that, you’d lost the right to claim his inheritance, and besides, how STUPID do you think he is, and thankfully, this elderly had, gone to the lawyers, and changed his will, so his abusive wife didn’t get a CENT from his death!
