What’s up with all of them bystanders, huh???  Why nobody helped this woman out?  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Twenty-One-Year-Old Ru Had Unexpected Epileptic Seizures, But After an Hour of Rest, She Would Get Better, on Sunday, She Was on the Way Home, and Had an Attack, She’d Desperately Needed a Place to Lie Down Flat on, She’d Asked for Assistance from the Railroad Police Station’s Banciao Substation, and They’d Denied Her the Right to Lie Down, and So, Ru Can Only, Lie Herself Down in the Lobby of the Train Station.

The Railroad Police Station’s Banciao Substatino told, that because there’s no fitting place in the station for her to lie down, they couldn’t offer her a comfortable place, that was why they’d suggested that she goes to the hospital.

Ru’s mother, Yu-Feng Lang said, that in the past, she’d had an epileptic seizure at work and was lifted onto an ambulance, and three to four minutes after the attacks, she’d fallen into a deep sleep, and, several time, she woke back up before they arrived at the hospital, she’d not wanted to waste the resource, that, was why she was, searching for a quiet place to rest up.  In the past, she’d had an attack next to the Hsinbei City Hall, and the city hall allowed her to rest in the nursing room, but this time, as she’d asked to have a quiet place to rest in the train stations, the railroad police as well as the station personnel denied her.

Later on ,Lang accompanied the social workers, moved Ru from the wheelchairs to the floors of the lobby in the station, protected her constantly shaking and turning neck, to prevent her from hurting her spine, and to keep her airway open.  Lang said, that the public areas needed to improve in the hardware to make the spaces more friendly for those who are in need.

Tseng stated, that in the past, there were epileptic patients who were on their way to the hospital to get their medications, and started having a seizure on the bus, and, although in just three, four minutes, they’d returned back to normal, the driver however, never allowed anybody else with the condition to take the bus he was driving, and, although the police, the firefighters had contacts with the patients, but, they’re, not the least bit familiar with the illness, and there was an incident where they forced the mouth of someone who was having an attack to open up, the public should understand, that those who had passed out from an epileptic attack will wake on their own, that only when the attacks came repeatedly, or that the individuals passed out for more than five minutes, would the ambulance need to be called.

Yeah, and the officials still made excuses, for why they weren’t treating these members of the public kindly, and that just showed, how unfriendly the world is, toward those with special needs, even women who are nursing are faced with these sorts of shits in public, believe it or don’t!
