“I Bought You,”, the Ties of Mother & Daughter Were, Severed

Why did you adopt her, if you won’t, treat her well?  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The twenty-seven-year-old woman, Wang, had been adopted since birth, five years ago she’d left home, and, a short while ago, the social worker notified her, to care for her adoptive mother in her elderly years, she’d filed for termination of care, stated, that she’d been physically and verbally abused since she was growing up, never treated by her adoptive mother as one of her own children, besides, the adoptive mother kept telling her, “I bought you”, and she’d, filed for the termination of taking care of her adoptive mother in her elderly years with the courts; the neighbors testified on the woman’s behalf, “She’d been through hell already”, the judge allowed for the termination of the adoption of her adoptive mother.

The verdict stated, that since she was born, Wang had been adopted, her adoptive father died when she was only four, it was only her and her adoptive mother on their own since.  Wang told the judge, that her adoptive mother had an awful temper, when she was in the elementary school years, her mother kept telling her, “I bought you, you need to serve me, and follow every word I say to you”.  As she did the chores around the house, and, whenever her adoptive mother felt like it, she’d gotten beaten up, and punished by kneeling on the floors.

Wang told, that in her high school years, her adoptive mother went into debt, forced her to drop out of school, and start working to help pay for the family’s household needs, she had worked for twelve hours a day, and handed all her earnings to her adoptive mother; and her adoptive mother insulted her by saying, “You wanted my assets, that, was why you came to live with me”, she couldn’t live with her adoptive mother any longer, so she’d, moved out.

At the start of the year, the adoptive mother asked for more alimony to care for her from Wang, and Wang no longer felt like paying it, she’d filed for termination of adoption with the courts.  During the testimonies in court, the adoptive mother admitted saying “I bought you”, and admitted to physically punishing Wang in the past, but claimed that that only happened when she got older.

The family court’s investigators visited Wang, as she saw her adoptive mother, fear showed from her eyes, and she just kept backing away, stressed, “I will NOT be returning to my past way of life again”.  The judge believed, that there’s no way, of patching the parent-child relationship any longer, and allowed for the termination of her adoption by her adoptive mother.

So, it’s all because this god DAMN adult (yes, one of “those” again!!!) had mistreated this woman when she was growing up, and now that this AWFUL adult is sick at old age, and needed someone to take care of her, and she’s gone and found the child she’d NEVER loved, and demanded alimony, and, the judge, reviewed over the woman’s path to coming of age, and believed, that the adoptive mother never really treated her well, thus, allowed her to NOT pay for the woman’s elderly years, which is absolutely JUST.  If you didn’t take care of us, love us (for real now!!!), then you god DAMN parents have ZERO right to ask us (your young???) to look after you when you’re old, gray, and/or ill!
