Embracing old age, that’s, the way to do it all right!!! Translated…
My aunt is eighty-six, she’d laughed every single day, and naturally as you can imagine, she’s in, great health, but what awes me the most is, the attitude she took, to the process of her own aging. She’s very independent, but, she knew when she needs the assistance, every time someone offers to help her out, she’d always smiled and said, “I’m more than blessed, to have you guys, looking after me.”
A lot of people are too anxious about the matter of growing older.
Because being elderly symbolized the disappearances of various abilities. In the path of life, death, being the hardest for us to control, but, in the elderly years, when overcome with illnesses, you’d still needed to, trouble others, to rely on others to care for you.
Normally, for those who are harder working, they couldn’t accept this sort of a thought. But, my aunt was different, she’d worked hard, too keep herself healthy, being physically and financially independent but also accepts that “no matter how hard she’d tried to, one day, she will come to, rely on others to help her live”, so, she’d carried that mindset of gratitude and cherished every person who came to help her in life.
a positive attitude is the KEY, to aging gracefully, not my photo…
My aunt also accepted the problems that come with old age, and, followed the doctors’ orders, and, treated her getting seen by the doctors as something fun. “Don’t we normally need to fast before an examination? So, after I got my blood drawn, I’d, treat myself to a fulfilling brunch at Starbucks!”, she’d squinted toward me.
The very next second, we’d, looked at one another, and smiled.
So, this is the positive attitude that this elderly woman has toward aging, because it’s unavoidable, getting older, so, instead of fighting it, we should all, just learn, to accept that our bodies will deteriorate, and we won’t be able to do the things we were able to as well when we were younger, and like this elderly woman, accepting the issues that comes with growing older, and just, live with the fact, that growing older is merely, a part of the process called L-I-F-E!
