Wanted Another Life…Murdered His Older Brother, Took His Identity, He Was Charged

The man, Yao-Zhong Lin was divorced, his company went bankrupt, he was caught in a fraud case, in his mother’s assistance, he’d falsified himself as his older brother and applied for an identification card, and then, murdered his own older brother, and placed his own national identification card inside the body, hoped to cheat the systems, and gain his “rebirth”, using his own older brother’s identity.  But the police busted him, the D.A.’s Office in Taichung charged him with murdering his next-of-kin, and asked the courts for the life sentence.

His mother, Lin helped him by perjury that he was his older brother, getting him to gain his older brother’s identity, and yesterday, the D.A. prosecuted his mother, Lin based off of forgery of documentation.

The police investigated, that the 48-year-old Lin made some money in business in his earlier years, was loved by his parents, and they’d invested millions of dollars of life insurance for him; his older brother, Lin has a gambling habit, and, he was forced, to pay up his older brother’s gambling debts, they were already, on bad terms with one another since a long time ago.

Five years ago, Lin had divorced, and his company was bankrupt too, he was convicted and sentenced for fraud, he’d had the thought of taking his own older brother’s identity, and fraudulently claimed the insurance payouts, to restart his own life again; two years ago, with the help from his own mother, he’d placed his photo onto his own older brother’s national identification card, and since then, he’d, lived as his older brother.

In April of this year, Lin first bought a hammer, and chopping blade, and other weapons, in May, he’d bought the gasoline, and murdered his own older brother on the 31^st of May, and before the day, he’d created his alibis, changed outfits five times, and asked his friends out for karaoke.  In the early morning of June 1^st, he’d asked his older brother to meet him, in the redistrict zone in Xitun District, he’d attacked his own older brother with the hammer, after his brother fell to the ground, he’d chopped at his older brother’s carotids, and hands off, then, placed his identification inside his older brother’s pockets, to make it look like he was murdered for cheating in gambling.

The police were called when the body was found, they’d thought that something didn’t add up in the case, and after they’d matched the older brother’s DNA with his own son, and confirmed that it was him who was dead, and not his brother; that very evening, Lin was caught, he he’d denied the allegations of murder.

The arresting officer found, that after Lin murdered and disposed of his own older brother’s body, he’d used two cars, and rode in a cab, and stayed for a short while in the redistricting zone in Xitun, and they suspected that that, was where he’d dropped the murder weapon; on June 4^th, the police forces went out to do a search, but, they’d turned up empty, later, they’d asked the guardian’s temple for assistance, and, they were able to find the murder weapon immediately after that.

So, despite this LOSER’s elaborate scheme, to murder his own older brother, assume his identity, so he won’t be found, it’d still busted, because fate won’t let you get away with murder, and even IF you got away, it’s only a matter of time before you get caught, so, don’t do anything bad, besides, if you’d done anything bad, your guilty conscience will gnaw at you day and night, and you still won’t get away!
