The Little Older than Two-Months Young Girl Infant, Lin, Died Abruptly at Home Last November, the D.A., with One Look Realized that Her Mother Was Kang, Who Had Been Arrested for Drug Abuse While Being Pregnant; Although Kang Stated She Wasn’t Willing to Have Her Infant Daughter Autopsied, But the D.A. Believed that There was More to What Caused the Infant to Die, and Insisted on the Autopsy, and in the End, They’d Confirmed the Cause of Death Being Inhaling of the Toxic Fumes Causing Pneumonia, the Alveoli that’s Caused Her Death.
The D.A. investigated, that Kang (age 31) when she was into her second trimester last year, she’d gotten arrested for smoking amphetamine, and, forty days after she gave birth, she’d breastfed and abused drugs with her 34-year-old husband, Lin by her side; and because their home was in the basement, there’s no ventilation, the infant inhaled in great amounts of drugs and died, the D.A. indicted Kang on involuntary manslaughter charges.
Because Lin refused to show up in court after the autopsy results were posted, the Keelung District Attorney’s Office had, issued a warrant for his arrest; the police arrested Lin yesterday, and took him into custody.
The D.A. pointed out, that last September, Kang gave birth to her daughter, and in the morning at nine on November 24th, she and her husband found their infant daughter without a heartrate, they’d rushed her into the hospital, and she’d still died. The D.A. from Keelung, Yang was called and examined the body, ruled out external injuries as the cause of death, she’d asked for an autopsy to be performed on scene, but the infant’s parents stated, “We don’t want her autopsied.”
Yang found the parents’ dodging the questions, and recognized that Kang was a drug abuser she’d interviewed from before, insisted on the autopsy, to clarify the cause of death.
The D.A. in charge, Chung stated, that Yang was extremely precise and careful toward the case, and had interrogated Kang who was pregnant in interrogation, back then, she’d nagged her, to stop using drugs for the sake of her fetus, and, two, three months later, she was on call, and reported to the autopsy of the infant girl, and she recognized Kang, and found what exactly, had killed this infant girl.
So, we have, another parent, who put her own needs, in front of her own young’s, and maybe, the withdrawal was just, too hard to handle, but she should’ve waited until her own young infant girl was WEANED, then start abusing whatever substance she was hooked on, but she didn’t, and she’d murdered her own young, smoking the poisons next to her own baby girl.
