The Changwha District Attorney’s Offices, D.A., Tsai was suspected of hiring a teenage call girl and had pimped her out too, the Taichung District Court gave him three months and a year and seven months for the separate charges; Tsai appealed, stated how he was, a changed man, and asked the judge to give him probation instead, the High Courts in Taichung not only didn’t allow for his asking, instead, gave him an even heavier sentence of three months, and a year and ten months for the separate charges, the case can still be appealed.
Tsai was taken into custody after the case, he was suspended from work, and during the trials, he and the families of the victimized teen reached an agreement, the family told that they wouldn’t pursue Tsai, and asked the judge to give Tsai a chance to change; but the judge believed, that Tsai is a district attorney that punishes criminals, but broken his own vow of office, and the seriousness of what he did, had strayed off of the paths of the offices of the justices.
The judge believed, that the probation systems shouldn’t be abused, that the punishments shall, fit the crimes, that it would be just, that Tsai not received probation.
The verdict pointed out, that two years ago in February, Tsai went through a man, Huang and met “Chungking Chick”, a sixteen year old girl, the two of them engaged in sexual activities for $3,500N.T. per hour at a motel, and afterwards, they were still, in contact with each other, that, was how Tsai found out about the financial difficulties of the young lady.
At the end of the same year in March, Tsai used the nickname, “Little Wheels” and posted the photo of “Chunking Chick” on a LINE group “After Work is Done”, her height, her measurements, her wage, the prices, and the time slots too, there were, a total, of five males, who’d had sexual intercourse with “Chunking Chick”, the prices ranged from $3,500 to $4,000N.T. each time.
On the first trial, the judge believed, that Tsai was a district attorney, but for the sake of satisfying his own urges, he’d had sex with a minor, and attempted to, pimp her out, but considering how he’d admitted to what he’d done, and reached a settlement agreement with the family of the teen, he was sentenced for three months for the sexual intercourse and a year and seven months for the solicitations; the D.A. and Tsai both appealed, the High Subsidiary Courts in Taichung yesterday decided on the terms: three months for the intercourse, which Tsai can pay a fee, and not serve any time, and a year and ten months for the pimping.
So, this, is how easily you can fall, this was a D.A., with the reputations and everything, and yet, he’d made this one wrong decision first, of having sex with a hooker, then, he’d gotten drawn in too deep, and everything unraveled from then on. That just still showed how easily, people are prone, to get taken by temptations.
