The lotto winners, in the encouragement of the Taiwanese Lotto Company, had donated an accumulated prize money of close to 4.5 billion dollars, helping over 4.9 million of the less fortunate in the community.
The Nantou Ren-Ai Home’s Youth Home Hope Castle Building got finished last May, and had been operating for a little over a year to date, and, most people only saw the brand new building that’s cost over $85 million N.T. to build, but not known of the experience in trials and hardships in the construction process, along with those hands that had been too helpful behind the process.

The Ren-Ai Home in Nantou had been set up to provide a safe place for children for over fifty years, it’s one of the most important facility in the county, the C.E.O. Wu pointed out, that because of the building’s history, the edifice was too old, and couldn’t meet the standards of the social welfare programs, and there’s not enough space, so, a lot of the children were, sent to other placement homes, making it harder for their families to visit them, and that, was what drove him to find the funding to build the “Hope Castle for Children”.
“This is their home”, the old building was set up like classrooms, without the atmosphere of home, and the brand new building was set up to create that comfort of homeness, which helped the children, as well as the adults to age and develop in a more positive manner, but, the cost was too high, and the facility can only, work hard, to get the funding donated by the public, and started on the construction of the building back in 2013, then continued, to raise the funds. With the donations from the Taiwanese Lotto Company, it was like this sudden burst of help, it’d given the foundation the funding for the constructions, plus the assistance received from all over the community, the Hope Castle for Children was finally, build, and it’d given the children, a warmer place to call home.
The children from the Ren-Ai Home, due to their families’ dysfunctioning, couldn’t have the normal life of other children, but with the support from the teachers, as well as their peers, they all have this drive to be better, after the Hope Castle for Children was built, they now have, a better environment, with that feeling of home now, the children and the foundation were grateful for the help that came from all over, to help them become better people in life.

So, this, is a charitable thing, that the lotto system puts the winnings into, and, because the winners felt blessed and they’d wanted to, pass what they’d gained from the lotto wins, and they’d, donated some of their winnings back to the system, and this is a cycle of kindness that will keep on rolling.
