Cheng pursued a married woman, Chen, but she’d turned him down, he’d suspected that she’d ratted him out for using drugs, two nights ago, they’d gone out to talk; early yesterday morning, Cheng was found with his neck slashed, rushed to the hospital, but still died, Chen claimed, that Cheng forcefully made his way into her car, and started beating her up, that was when she’d picked up the machete in her car to defend herself, that she was unaware, that she’d, slashed his carotid, she was charged with murder; the D.A. found there to be issues in her statement, as the courts to get her into custody.
The police investigated, that Cheng and Chen were both thirty-four, both with priors in illegal substances; Cheng was released this January, met Chen this April, he’d given her a pricy watch to pursue her, but she’d turned him down, later he was arrested for using illegal substances, he’d suspected that she’d told the cops. Two nights ago at around nine, Cheng asked Chen out; at around two in the morning, Cheng was severely wounded, and the police rushed him to the hospital, but he’d still died.
The police stated, that as the officers arrived, Cheng got away in the car, probably was unaware that he’d sustained an injury on his neck so serious, he’d started bleeding out, and not long after, he’d felt a lack of energy, and parked his car by the side of the road; the officers immediately called an ambulance for him, but he’d still died after the doctors tried to save him, Chen was taken to the hospitals too, and was okay, but she kept stressing how she was the victim.
So we really don’t know what had happened here, but, if it were self-defense, then, shouldn’t it be enough, that you’d, slashed him some place minor, so you can get away, but instead, this woman used such brute force, and severed the man’s carotid artery.
